Which crazy golf course?

Just wandering what the best crazy golf course either on 192 or in disney? Theres so many to choose from. We did pirates cove in 2003 on i-drive, we had a great night but just wandered if there was a better one.

we always enjoy the disney courses the most - we normally play Fantasia golf which is near the swan and dolphin hotels, but this year actually found the 'wintersummerland' one near blizzard beach - it was great and was actually cheaper than the mini golf we played on International Drive

There is one in Festival Bay at the bottom of International Drive, its a bit mad cause is luminous, not hard but good fun, wear plenty of white clothes.

We just did Congo River Golf and Exploration Co on the 192 and declared it the best mini-golf so far. They even offer the chance to feed some gators, which our younger two (8 and 10) thought was great fun (though at $3.99, just a bit pricey...wait to see if you get a coupon after you finish the free scavenger hunt while you're golfing).

Can't offer an objective opinion as we have only played the winter course at Disney's Wintersummerland at Blizzard Beach. However, I can definitely recommend it as a lot of fun, excellent theming, and great if you are like me and love Christmas! They even play Christmas music.

Tiki Island adventure golf is pretty decent too. It's on I-drive just up past the sand lake road junction and on the left. The course is set in and around a volcano that erupts if someone gets a hole in one on the last hole.

Yeah, don't get me started about mini-golf - I could talk all day!

Seriously though, if you need any recommendations, feel free to PM me as I (and my wife) have pretty much played every course on I-Drive and at Disney now.

From what you all say some of these mini golf course may take a long time to play. Roughly how long does a round take at Fantasia? ( I realise this will vary depending on skill levels!).

I think we went round in less than 2 hours - that was 4 of us and we didn't have to wait for anyone in front of us.

There are two courses at Fantasia - one is a 'crazy golf' type course and the other is a longer 'putting green' type course on grass.

We went in December and there were about 2 other families playing. Don't know about the busier times of year though.

I would guess in the summer it gets busier in the evenings when it's cooler - you could play in the evening and then walk round to Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club resort. Winners buy the 'kitchen sink' LOL

Thanks for the link, there's some really great info on it and I think this will help us get a better idea of which one to try.
Do people have a preference between courses in and out of disney?

In Orlando last week and there is a new crazy golf being built behind Taco Bell on the 192 marker 5 called jungle golf looks fairly good and judging how much they got done during our stay wont be long before its finished !

Thats good, may well be open when we go. Might have to give it a go and will be handy as it will be close to where we're staying.
