Which contest would you want to win?

I entered the DIS podcast contest to win the cruise - I blew it with the Aulani contest because I didn't get to it. I actually was not that interested in the Aulani one because, honestly, I'm not sure we'd even want to spend the money just on airfare to go to Hawaii (nothing against Hawaii - we went there about 18 years ago and while we enjoyed it we're in no screaming rush to go back. Being on the east cost we'd rather go to the Caribbean)

Anyway this got me thinking - if you could win any one of these three which would you prefer? For me it's clear - the ABD Backstage Magic is the winner by a long shot. I am dying to do this! The Alaska cruise is a distant second with Aulani coming in an even more distant third. What about you?

I'd love all three. In fact, the ABD trip is already booked. Its just a matter of finding the time for Aulani and Alaska in between all our other trips.

We were originally scheduled to sail on the same Alaska cruise that Pete and the crew were on but decided to move it to a WBPC cruise when some very good VGT rates became available for that. So an Alaska cruise is still on our bucket list.

From the pictures I've seen of Aulani from the DIS folks and others I know that have been there make it a must do as well. Our "issue" is simply the amount of time it takes to get there from the East coast. We will probably break the trip up with a stop in CA (probably DLR or SF) on the way over and back.

Tough choice... but Aulani, Alaska, ABD. Of course I'd be thrilled to win ANY of them. I think my boyfriend would put Alaska first. And depending on my mood, I might, too. But Hawaii just looks so... ahhhhhhh

I'd say ABD, Alaska, Aulani in that order. I'm basing that partly on interest and partly on reality of which would be easiest to actually get to. Ultimately, I'd love any one of them but if I won a trip to Aulani that had to be redeemed within a year (their usual terms), it would probably go to waste. Actually, the other two would also probably go to waste but I'd have a better shot with those.

The biggest consideration for me is the flight prices. Though I still think I'd have the most fun on an ABD trip even if flights weren't a consideration. The idea of getting to go to Imagineering is very exciting.

Based strictly on the destination itself, ABD #1 for sure, I've been dreaming of doing that trip since the first look at the ABD brochure. Alaska cruise # 2, partly because it's on a Disney ship and partly because it just looks amazing. Aulani is last because for some reason, I've never had much interest in going to Hawaii. Aulani does makes it more appealing though.

Honestly all of the trips would be amazing, but I've been lucky enough to visit Hawaii multiple times already - not that I would complain about going back! But an Alaskan cruise is something DH and I both really would like but can't afford right now, so to win a trip would be incredible.

I've sent in answers the first 2 weeks and will do it again this week, I mean someone has to win right!

Alaska would be amazing. I've never been to Alaska or on a cruise and I already live in Vancouver so travel would be a snap.

On the other hand, the ABD Backstage trip would be my only chance to get back to Disney for about 3-5 years after our honeymoon. Our finances will be a little tight after the wedding. Plus, I've never been to Disneyland and would LOVE to see the place it all began.

Hawaii would be the least convenient, but still AMAZING. I've never been there either and it sounds stunning.

For me, it's a tie between the first two with Hawaii coming in a close second. Whoever wins each is going to be in for an amazing adventure.

They would all be amazing! For me I think it would be Alaska, ABD and Aulani. I'd love to do Aulani, but I've got DVC and the airfare is the biggest deterrent for that one. I'm desperate to do the ABD Backstage Magic again... It would actually probably be a tie with Alaska...

I've been very interested in doing an Alaska cruise already, and after hearing all the amazing details and seeing video from those segments, I want to go even more. Crossing my fingers...

Concern about airfare is definitely an issue.

A number of years ago, we won a free 7-night cruise for 2. Once we paid for airfare, ground transfers, taxes and fees, tips, incidental spending, and paid to bring our daughter, that "free" cruise ended up costing us about $3,000.

It really doesn't matter to me if I won a trip which one it would be. I would love to go to Hawaii, Alaska or a BSM. I am planning on a trip to DLR next year, but I know it isn't the same as a BSM. Any one of the trips would be fine with me.

I'd love to win any of them....but my first choice would be ABD....I got my Disney start at Disneyland back in the 70's.......got to go twice before changing coasts...I must say that WDW holds my heart, but I would love to go back to the original again.

Oh...that's tough. I would be over the moon to win any of them. If I had to rank them I guess it would be Alaska, ABD, Aulani. We have always wanted to go to Alaska, but any of these would amazing!
