They've pretty much announced the ones I want to see. Little Mermaid is my favorite, so I'm very interested to see how they bring that one to life, especially with Lin-Manuel Miranda producing. I feel like he'd bring a much more Caribbean feel to the whole thing. I'm also looking forward to the live action Snow White movie, though I was hoping they would wait to remake Snow White for it's 100th anniversary, but that's still 20 years from now. I guess that means they can remake it now and then also remake it again then Maybe then they'll be re-animating their hand-drawn classics with CGI.
I appreciate that Disney doesn't seem to be thinking of these live action movies as "replacements" for the animated versions. I would be heartbroken if we suddenly stopped seeing classic Cinderella or Belle, with the Lily James or Emma Watson versions taking their place. Maybe it'd be cool to meet those versions in the parks, but only while they're promoting the films.
