Which characters should I expect to see at Tusker House?

I'm under the impression that it's Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Mickey and Goofy in safari gear? Is this correct? Minnie is never there?

You are correct - it's Donald, Daisy, Mickey & Goofy. Minnie does not appear there - she can be found at Cape May Cafe breakfast or Chef Mickey's.

Thank you for the quick reply. I'm doing this breakfast as a "replacement" for Chef Mickey because we ate there last year and we really don't want to eat there again. Love the characters, but everything else about Chef Mickey's

I have heard good things about the food at the Tusker House breakfast, but just wanted to check as far as characters. So basically, I'm getting Daisy instead of Minnie. Too, bad, Minnie is my DD's favorite. I think the Beach Club for breakfast would be too difficult from Polynesian using Disney Transport. Guess we'll have to make it a priority to see Minnie in the parks!

MK: Judge's Tent in Toontown
AK: Camp Minnie-Mickey
EP: Character Spot in Future World
HS: near Sorcerer's Hat, and sometimes in the Animation Building

You are right. The food at Tusker House breakfast is good. I will say that we weren't as thrilled with the character interaction though. When we were there, only Goofy and Mickey came to our tables. We had to get up and wait in a line to see Donald and Daisy! I don't know if it was just that day but they were running really behind with reservations that day so maybe that is why.

Same with us - we've never had good character interaction at Tusker House - extremely rushed and we don't care for the atmosphere which consists of cramped seating in a small room.

To the OP: don't let this discourage you - kbheap & I are in the minority concerning TH - it is overwhelmingly popular so you will probably enjoy it as well

Oh, I hope it was just a fluke when you guys went as far as the character interaction was concerned. Maybe it was a busy day, but boy, that would have bothered me too if I had to line up to see characters at a character meal. A lot of us do the meals so we can avoid having to wait on line to see them. We can do that for free in the parks!

Well, at least I can be reasonably certain that we will get a good breakfast, and we will get into AK early which is a plus. That's two things this breakfast has over Chef Mickey already. Staying positive!!
