Hi - I am full of questions and am so grateful for anyone who can take the time to help me out...

I am trying to book a character breakfast and am curious to know which of the PCH Grill, Storytellers Cafe, and Goofy's Kitchen are closest to the park entry? I know they are attached to hotels but don't know the locations of the hotels either. We are doing Minnie and Friends one morning and are hoping to add another.
Thanks a ton!!

Oh and if it makes any difference, the day we are adding this meal is the day we will be staying elsewhere away from DL and we will be driving in. I'm not sure if there is any parking close to any of the hotels, as that would also make sense (to eat at the hotel we park closest to and then make our way to the parks).

What about Ariel's Grotto? It is located inside DCA. Otherwise, if you are looking at distance only and no other factors, I guess you could sort of say that Storytellers Cafe Critter Breakfast is closest. None of the three you mentioned are terribly close to the entrance of the parks, that is the bottom line. BUT, you will hit the Grand Californian Hotel first if you walk from the gates of DL/DCA and through DTD. You would make a left onto the GCH property and then make your way to Storytellers. If you were going to Lilo and Stitch at the PPH, you would have to walk through the GCH and then across the street to get to it. And for Goofy's, you would have to walk all the way down to the far end of DTD and then onto the DLH property. It is not terribly far, but Storytellers may seem closer because you hit the GCH first if you are coming from the gates of the park. And you can park for 3 hours free at DTD, I think. Otherwise, I suppose you could park at the DLH, hit Goofy's and then head all the way down DTD to the gates of the parks. Parking for GCH and PPH is across the street, so DLH's parking would make more sense in that regard.

Thank you both and Sherry particularly for all that detail. We are already doing the princess lunch. I honestly have an obsession with booking these character meals - we are doing Goofy for dinner, the princess lunch, Minnie for breakfast and I seem to feel the need to add a fourth for our fourth day... So it has to be a breakfast but I don't want to waste the whole morning so want to both get there fast and then get to the park fast. I realize there will likely only be a small difference in the end between them all in terms of timing etc but at least this helped me decide. So Storytellers it is!!! Thank you again!! I am excited to be getting to add in a fourth meal lol!!

I know what you mean! So far we have 3 character meals booked:
PS for Goofy's brunch; PS for Minnies early breakfast (you can make PS for before the park opens) PS for Storytellers breakfast, and am trying to decide between ariels and Lilo and stitch for the last one My girls DD9 and DD8, would rather do lilo and stich~ so I think we'll end up there. We also have rainforest cafe booked for another breakfast.

I'm trying to make sure that we have at least one complete relaxing meal a day.

You are welcome!:goodvibes Just remember that while the GCH may be technically closest to the gates of DL/DCA, the parking for GCH is across the street, and the parking at DTD is only 3 hours free. So you may want to just park wherever you are going to park for the whole day and then saunter up/down DTD to the GCH entry.

I think you will have a great time with all of these meals. Goofy's is my personal favorite, and Storytellers is pretty good too. A lot of people like the Critter Breakfast best out of all of them. You will certainly get almost a full spectrum of character dining experiences on your trip!! I wish I could do that whenever my friends and I go - stack the character meals back to back - but one of my friends is willing to pay for Goofy's and it will be hard to convince her to pay for other ones too, when money is tight.
