Which character breakfast for last day?

I'm trying to plan our last day at WDW & I want to do a character breakfast that is NOT in the parks.

I was thinking of 1900 Park Fare or 'Ohanas. We did Chef Mickey's on our last trip and I wanted to try something different.

Has anyone been to either of these lately? Does the Mad Hatter & Alice still appear at 1900 Park Fare? Which has better food.

Any reviews or suggestions are greatly appreciated  !

Thank you!

I don't know whos at 1900PF in the am these days. We enjoyed breakfast at Cape May Cafe with Mickey's crew(sans Mickey) in surfung garb.

Big Fan of Cape May Cafe, and will be doing it again in only a few weeks, so that is my personal recommendation. Character interaction was excellent, from my experience better than CMs or 1900PF.

When I went to 1900 the characters were Alice, Mad Hatter, Pooh, Eeyore, and I think Mary Poppins was outside greeting guests.

We did Cape May last time.

We thought it was good but not fabulous or anything. This time I think we will try O'hana's. They have a character breakfast don't they?

Cape Mmay is our family's absolute favorite, and we make it a point to go at least once on every trip - usually on our last day. The food is reliably good and fresh, and the character interaction is always unhurried. Plus, we like that it is calm and quiet in there! It is the most relaxing character breakfast I know of.

I have done 1900, and will not go back. The service was horrible (and how can you have bad service at a buffet?), the characters seemed very rushed, and the place was incredibly loud loud loud! It just seemed like an out-of-control nightmare. Never again!

1900 Park Faire. The food is delicious. Omelet Station, french toast, cheese blintz just yummy! Also, ask for the Mango Smoothie, to die for!! The place is very elegant and it is a great ending to a great trip, for us anyway! Characters: Mary Poppins, ds fell in love!, Mad Hatter, Pooh, Eeyore, and Alice in Wonderland. This is, by far, my families favorite character breakfast and we have done them all!

Wishing everyone a "magical" day!

I think I'm going to go with 1900 Park Fare. My DD likes the face characters alot better, because she loves to talk to them!

Is Alice & Mad Hatter almost always there? I personally would love to meet the Mad Hatter :teeth: !

Has anyone who has been recently, not seen Alice & the Mad Hatter.

Thanks!

We thoroughly enjoyed 'Ohana. We took the last slot available so it was more like brunch. There were many empty tables but the characters had to stay on until everyone left. Mickey, Goofy, Chip and Dale did parades and let the kids join in with instruments. We had lots of time with them and the food was good. It was an enjoyable, relaxed time.

We've done 1900 Park Fare 3 times now and Alice was there
each time.

I agree, by far the best bkfst.

Never experienced bad service.

We tried 'Ohanna's in Dec 2002 & didn't have a great experience. The restaurant was really crowded - so that may have been the problem. Our service was poor - our server acted bothered that we wanted more waffles, and then only brought 2 more for us to share. We were there for over an hour & still hadn't seen all the characters - finally, a manager brought Mickey over to the table so we could leave. The person accompanying Mickey was pulling him all over the place & he wasn't going in any sort of order. It was madness.

We've only eaten at 1900 Park Faire for dinner & the food was pretty good, but not our favorite.

I am really looking forward to trying Cape May's breakfast on our next trip. We love it for dinner, so I'm hoping breakfast will be just as good. I've heard some really great reviews on it. HTH! ::MickeyMo

Thanks again everyone for the help!

I think the best choice will be for 1900 Park Fare, though I still may try to squeeze in 'Ohana on another day, because I much prefer the family style meals to the buffets.

Thanks again!
