Which character breakfast for large group with all ages?

We'll have my sister and her 2 little ones (2 and 4) as well as myself, my 11yo ds, 15yo dd, grown ds & his bff lady & my parents For the 10 of us, which location will offer the best environment, seating & fun (OK, they're all fun aren't they ) for a large group?

Thinking of Cape May, Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's or ??? Donald's in AK (not sure of name)
From what I've seen CM's has the large group tables off in the corners and the character interaction at those seemed to be ... restricted for lack of a better word. The kids had to come out away from the table each time the characters came around.

Also - if my parents cop out (they tend to complain about not being able to eat the menu items) and leave us with 2 extra seats, will that cause problems with check-in?

I actually think Chef Mickey's would be a great place for your group! The characters are the main characters loved by all! The food is decent and the environment is fun. I think it is suited for kids and adults!

I would recommend Cape May. You get the characters, but in a much quieter & relaxed atmosphere. I find that works better when there are large groups & different ages.

I took my Dad & Stepmom there last December. It was their very first character meal and they really enjoyed it. The food is really good, the character interaction has always been great and you can hear the person sitting across from you

To answer your other ?, if anyone in your group is "unable" to make it to the ADR, don't worry about it. It's a lot easier to "drop" people than to add them Just let the hostess know when you check in that 2 in your party won't be able to make it, it won't be a problem
