which car rentals have an office/shuttle service from port canaveral?

hi there. i posted this on the transportation forum, but thought i may post here as well....

i need to rent a car from port canaveral, after we get off our cruise, to take us back to the airport...does anyone know which car rental company has an office or a shuttle service from/at port canaveral? tia!!

I had booked a reservation before i went on cruise and i do recommend you doing this because they are booked all the time. As soon as you get off you will see the Disney Bus transportation to your right and to the left you line up for rental transportation and Dollar will pick you up there i belive there is a sign they will take you for free(tip). I think they star at 8 A.M. here is there info

Even though the map makes it seem that some are quite far away, they aren't. We usually rent from National and their office is only a mile or two down the road from Hertz. I would go with the one that gives you the best price.

Budget is about a 5-10 minute ride from the port. They also do not have any drop off fees for one way rentals. Thrifty does have about a $50 drop off fee. Budget does offer a shuttle but they can get very crowded. We usually take a taxi which costs about $15 and usually gets us there before the shuttle. As PPs have suggested, it is extremely important to reserve a car ahead of time. I have seen numerous walk up people turned away at Budget because all of their cars have been previously reserved.

Price them all out....we have often found Thrifty to be cheaper, even with the drop fee. Prices change all the time so keep checking prices all the time (even after you book).
