Which buildings at OKW have been renovated?

Does anyone have any idea.... I know there have been many threads about the poor condition of some of the villas. (I also know it is a matter of opinion as to how "bad" some of the villas are.) Just curious if anyone knows which buildings have already been done, if any.

I thought they all had been. OKW routinely does complete renovations (new appliances, floors refinished, the works) about every 5 years. In the past two years we have been in two of the very oldest buildings and one of the very newest, and all had been refurbished. I suspect this is an ongoing thing, because WDW/DVC units get a LOT of use, and therefore need pretty much constant refurbishing. Sometimes you might have the bad luck to be put in a unit that is ready to be taken out of service for renovation, and it might look shabby, but then again, you might get a newly refurbed one too. I suspect it is the same at ALL DVC resorts. I remember our first GV stay in 1999 being very disappointed that the hard wood floors were pretty shabby. They told us that the unit was scheduled to be refurbished right after our stay. On the other hand, we stayed in one of the older buildings in January, and it appeared to have been completely newly done.

Just got back from OKW on Wednesday. The buildings directly across from the HH seemed to be out of commission. Probably bldg # 14, 13?? don't have a map in front of me. The parking spaces were blocked.

We were in Bldg 55. Really quiet and in good shape.

Building 55 is my favorite! Really quiet, and close to the quiet pool!
Hope you had a great time!

Thanks!
Just with all of the recent complaints about the "horrid" conditions of the villas at OKW, I wondered if some buildings were in really bad shape in comparison to those that have recently been renovated.

Those posts where people had to be moved, even to other resorts, and there were vents missing, mold growing everywhere, doors falling off hinges, etc. had me wondering if I should request other buildings!
