Which attractions will be open at each park? Trying to figure out how many days I need for each park. Thanks

I don’t think that’s been reported yet beyond Disney saying that it’s possible not all attractions will be open.

I have wondered this as well. I have also wondered how many will be allowed in each park. Like will it be similar to an after hours event? Or a lot more people? I wonder because without fasspasses what will lines look like? Hopefully not hours for everything or wouldn't that kinda defeat the purpose?

Also take into consideration that the attractions that will be open will not be running at full capacity. To maintain social distancing, some rides will only use every other row, or other methods to keep parties further apart.

Were there any rides not opened at the Asian parks when they opened? This could be a good leading indicator.

I know some inclosed Shanghai shows started about a month into their reopen but comparing the international parks to domestic is comparing apples to oranges

obviously no character interactions/shows will happen at first...

We can only go by what's on the official WDW calendar

pick a park, pick a date, you can check entertainment or attractions to see what's open during your visit

I did a check on Magic Kingdom just to see for that first open week in July. It was interesting to me that Philharmagic is showing open, but the Country Bears and the Tiki Birds are not. Philharmagic almost always seems to get more of an audience than the other two shows, at least in my experience.

it might be the fact that it's individual seats instead of bench seating? although they could've just put tape on the bench and mark where you can sit and where you can't like SW is doing for their shows

that was my thought. You could just tape off the ends of rows so that there would be distance in front of you and behind you, and then put some tape on the benches in certain areas to create distance between families. Admittedly, I’m a little biased on this because I love the Tikis and certainly hope that that attraction will be open during our visit.

yeah, at SW they have little pieces of tape that says 3ft, so every 3ft there's a piece of tape on the top. Your group can obviously sit all together but then the next group leaves the space. They also alternate rows, one gets filled one is left empty

Don't think this has been shared here

Attractions and Entertainment

To accommodate physical distancing, some experiences will be temporarily paused when the parks initially reopen, including:

  • Parades and nighttime spectaculars
  • Character Greetings
  • Playgrounds
Our Characters will still be in the parks to entertain and delight our Guests. Additionally, you'll be able to experience many favorite attractions and dozens of entertainment offerings.

From special cavalcades down the Magic Kingdom park parade route and friends sailing the waterways of Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park to processions along World Showcase promenade at EPCOT and motorcades on Hollywood Boulevard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, each area will come to life throughout the day. You never know when a party of your pals may come by, so be prepared for plenty of surprises!

Note: Some experiences may be modified, limited in capacity and subject to availability or closure.

I don't want to divert the conversation but I was wondering if you have to wear the mask on the ride and if you do...will it stay? Like on Space Mountain or EE? It will, right? What about water rides, if it gets soaked?

I read an account from someone who went to Universal and said that wearing the mask on the thrill-type rides was fine, and not as confining as they expected. I'm sure everyone will have their own experience, though.

I know with Universal you need to wear them on all rides HOWEVER I also read on Jurassic Park guests could remove their masks once they were seated/lap barred and hold them in their hand and then put the mask back on before disembarking the ride (IDK if it will still be that way now that it's required to wear a mask in Orange County)

It's because you get wet on JP and private companies can make their own rule. But yes, once the attraction is over you have to put it back on
Ive been on mummy and hagrid and the mask stays on, no problem at all

Any thoughts which rides may be open in each park?
Officially not mentioned but I'll take a good guess.
