Which Area of CSR?

HI!

A question for all of the CSR experts. Which area should I request when making reservations at CSR: Cabanas, Casitas or Ranchos? We will have a rental car, so probably will not use the bus system. We will use the Dig Site pool and I am unsure where we will eat, but probably at the parks.

We need two connecting rooms as we have four kids (3 boys, 1 girl). I was thinking the boys would like the Ranchos area, but wondered what others thought.

Also, do I need to request the area when I make the reservation?

Ranchos 7B is a good location if you wish to be close to the Digsite and don't plan on using the Pepper Market. I have a map on my website if you want to get an idea of how the resort is laid out.

Forgot to add: Yes, you can make that request when you make your reservation, although it cannot be guaranteed. I would make getting connecting rooms a priority and then ask for a certain area.

We stayed at CSR in late March and stayed in the 7B section of Ranchos and were glad--- it is VERY close to a quiet pool AND to the Dig Site pool-- we drove everywhere too and did not use the buses-- therefore we drove to the Pepper Market to eat and every where else--- Have a great time!

Cabana 9b is close to bus stop #1 and the main building with a short walk to the Dig Site over the wooden bridge.

Cabana 8a is very close to the Dig Site and bus stop #4 with a short walk to the main building.

Cabana 8b and 9a are in between the 2 cabanas above.

Ranchos 7b has a quiet pool, is close to the Dig Site and bus stop #4 with a bit longer walk to the main building. 7b is behind cabana 8a.

The casitas are close to the gym, spa and have great fountains and courtyards. Casita 5 is close to the Dig Site with a good walk to the main building. The lower the casita number the closer towards the main building.
