which area at HRH do you like to stay

We are staying at the HRH in June for 5 nights. This will be our 1st time at Universal. Is there a certain section at the HR that you would prefer to stay. We have a standard room. When we stay at Pop Century someone recommended a certain section. We stayed in that section and loved it. If we ever go back to disney I would like to stay in the same section.

I know people will probably disagree but last year we had room 3095. It was on the same floor as the shop therefore we didn't have to use the lift (pet hate of ours!!!) and if the kids had forgotten anything when we got to the pool it was only up 1 flight of stairs. I can't remember it being too loud at night - however we sleep through anything. I have requested this room again this year - view was nothing to write home about - but how long do you spend in your room?!

When we would go to disney we would only be in our rooms to sleep, eat breakfast and get dressed. The kids would usually swim at night we would get finish at the parks usually around 10 or 11 a.m. We stayed at Pop Century in preferred area (70s section) we were close to the bus stop, pool and food court. At Universal we plan on relaxing and enjoy the hotel and the pools. I know we are in a standard room but I thought there might be some favorites out there.

We stayed on the Club Level....We had a crappy view...It was on !4 BUT it was at the end of the hallway so at night NO ONE came by our room. We had virtually no noise at all. The only problem we had was our neighbor didn't know how to not let the door slam. Ughh! Room # was 3735

We stayed on the third floor and loved it also. We were very close to the little store and that was handy. Noise does not bother us, though.

I know there's some on the first floor back behind the gym.

Last year, my younger brother found a party in a room on one of the upper floors, and everyone was smoking...there were ashtrays and a few HRH employees there, so he figured it was a smoking room.
