offer a free shuttle bus like the Magical Express in WDW? Thanks

We're flying in to LAX this time, but have also used Orange County (John Wayne Airport). They do not have the free Magical Express, but there is the Disneyland Express bus - go to graylineanaheim.com or the Super Shuttle - supershuttle.com. Both options will be about $100 round trip for our family of 4 booked in advance.

How long does it take to get from LAX to DLH? We are taking the shuttle for our trip but don't know a thing about it.:confused3

I believe it's about 45 minutes. The bus comes every 1/2 hour (or hour on off times) and goes directly to the DLR hotels. THe Super Shuttle is a van that seats 7 people so depending on the number in your party, you may have to wait for other people to fill it up. They take you directly to your hotel, but again, depending on the other passengers, you may have to make a stop or two on the way.

We love LGB! Comparing it to LAX (the only other airport we've used) ~ LGB is closer to DLR, smaller and less $$ for airfare. We've used a car service our last few trips ~ $45 each way.

The 3 most used airports in the DLR area are ~

LAX
LGB
SNA

I would never "choose" to fly into LAX to go to Disneyland. We fly into SNA (John Wayne/Orange County/Santa Ana). It is MUCH closer -- we don't have to deal with all of the LA traffic and it is a much cleaner & nicer airport. The transportation costs are cheaper from the airport to the hotels because of the shorter distance. A couple of hotels have a private shuttle to the DLR but very few. A lot of people use the ART (Anaheim Resort Transit) to get from their off-site hotels to the DLR.

If you can fly directly into LGB or SNA then I'd recommend it - they're smaller and easier to get through than LAX, plus they're closer to the resort as well.

On the other hand, if you have to change to get to one of those two airports, but can get to LAX direct (as is the case with me) then I'd recommend just going straight to LAX as it works out quicker in the long run.
