Thinking of driving to Bangor for my next trip and flying from there...

Anyone know which airlines fly from there or any other major site near there...Thanks

Sam,
Got to travelocity.com and type in Bangor for your departure, if that is available they will suggest an airport alternative. My quick search showed Delta, AA and USAir.

Take a look at www.flybangor.com . Airlines that service Bangor are Northwest, Delta, American Airlines, US Airways & Continental.

Pan Am used to fly direct from Bangor, but stopped the flights last year. Rumor has it they're restarting this year, but who knows?

We got Bangor-MCO via Delta Song for May 28 - June 7 for $230 with one stop in Boston (for 1 hour). I thought this was a pretty good deal.

Hello fellow (past and present) Mainers,

We always try to fly Delta BGR-MCO with stop in Cinn. It makes the flight about 35 minutes longer, but the airport is newish and well-run. We HATE the Logan stop. Something ALWAYS goes wrong. Twice we have had our flights outright cancelled [one maintenance, one weather] and were told there is nothing they can do. Once we manged to get on a US Air flight and the other time we were put on a commuter/city type bus (very uncomfortable) for the 4 plus hour trip home. It is hard to get under $250, I find, for the R/T, but the Portland rates are no better.

Good luck!
