Which actor just didn't suit their TV/film role?

You can name any movie any character

Charlie Jones just wasn't a convincing baddy in EastEnders

Casper Crump as Vandal Savage in DC Legends of Tomorrow. Never felt like an unbeatable Big Bad.

But with that said, if it weren't for that terrible first season, we wouldn't have gotten the pivot into what Legends is now. And we certainly wouldn't have gotten a kaiju fight between a demon and a Beebo doll.

And I never liked Hayden Christianson as Anakin, although I feel that George Lucas shoulders a lot of blame for that.

Finally, Brandon Routh was initially not good as Shaw on Chuck. But that may have been deliberate, as he was great once Shaw turned heel.

John Wayne as Genghis Khan. (the conquerer)

Keanu Reeves as John Constantine.

Jack Nicholson as anyone other than Jack Nicholson.

Gonna have to agree with the Anakin nomination. There is NO WAY it is believable that such a whiny little puke ended up as the most tough guy villain of Star Wars. Also agree that this one is not all on the actor.

Mickey Roony as Mr. Yunioshi, the land lord in Breakfast at Tiffany's.

Hoping my sister will forgive me, but I think Barbra Streisand as Dolly in Hello, Dolly was wrong.

I love the movie and love Barbra but I agree. She is much too young for that role. She was only 27 and suppose to be a worldly widow paired with Walter Matthau.

George Clooney - Batman. He recognizes it over and over again where he has even apologize for it over and over again.

Kristen Stewart - Snow White

Shia Lebeouf - Indiana Jones son

Yes on the Anakin casting for SW1-3.

Clooney is a bit hard on himself. He would've been fine playing a serious Batman in a serious movie. But Joel Schumacher wanted camp, and both Clooney and Val Kilmer were not good fits for that.

I didn’t mind Kilmer as Batman, and somehow I haven’t seen Clooney, but the best will always be Michael Keaton.

I couldn't get behind Morgan Freeman as Alex Cross. Nothing against Mr Freeman but whenever I read an Alex Cross book, Denzel is the only face I can picture.

Seemed rather unnecessary arrogant. I didn't really watch that, but he showed up in any number of crossovers.

I never liked William Peterson, the first CSI guy as the leader of the team, people think he was really good not I
Manhunter from 1986. And Brian Cox as Hannibal Lecter seems like a pale imitation even though it came first.

I don't know most of the movies/rolls posted here but I do know Alex Cross. I would agree Morgan Freeman doesn't come across as Alex Cross, but neither does Denzel. For some reason I see Alex Cross as big and tall, as in a bit overweight and a man of substantial stature.

My pick goes for Jim as Jack Ryan. I tried and just can't see him in that roll. He doesn't fit (could be that I can only see him as Jim, or maybe not, but I couldn't watch the show.)

Honestly, I prefered Brian Cox's Lecter. It seemed more like he could be a real person--the Anthony Hopkins one seemed almost like a parody of a serial killer to me. But I know I'm in a minority, as SotL was a much more successful film. The real star of Manhunter was the soundtrack. I rewatched it a year ago or so, and I had forgotten how much I used to love the band Shriekback.
