Whew... That's a big 'Tato Head! 10 Amazing Days in May '14! **That's a wrap! 10-1**

Love love love that teacup pic of your dad! Some of your pictures look like they were taken with a DSLR. Where they? How was it lugging that around the park? I wasn't going to but the other day I took mine on an adventure with Caden and it really wasn't that annoying. I'm starting to re-think taking it along on our Disney trip.

That Mickey pretzel is HUGE!! I want one! We've never gotten one. It's on the list now!

You've done so much and it's only like 9am. Can't wait to hear about the rest of your day!

Wow that is impressive! Totally with the 5 am wake up!

Charlotte did he same thing last year in Disney, she went on the potty several times!! Tinker Bell must have been using temporary pixie dust because I now have a three year old so opposed to the potty, even the mention of it sends her into a tantrum!

I think we have the same child... unfortunately the potty-training Pixie Dust only lasted for about 3 days. I really got my hopes up after the first two days that it was going to last!

I didn't know you could get a cheese sup with your pretzels with the snack credits...very useful info! Disney pretzels are the best!

I didn't know that either! Derek came back our second time getting pretzels with cheese and my immediate thought was, "No you didn't... you did not use a snack credit on $1 cheese!" Then he told me that it came with the pretzel with a snack credit... and then I thought it was just the CM that checked him out. Well, the next time we got one he said, "Is the cheese included?" and they told him yes! Good to know, huh!?

Good call on skipping the mine train, that's why you didn't have any lines for rides, everyone was waiting in the mine train line, lol.

Between the 7 Dwarfs Mine Train and Anna and Elsa, I'm surprised that there were any lines anywhere else at any point in the day!!

Great update!

Thanks!

Some of them were! We brought our Nikon D3100 and used that a lot. It really is a big pain in the rear to lug around... but dang the pictures are so good! We had a backpack to carry our park stuff in and the camera case would fit in there, so when I knew I wouldn't be taking any pics we put it in there... but most of the time someone spent carrying the camera and case! Towards the end of our trip I don't think I used it as much, relied more on my phone since it was easier to carry around. I didn't take it on our "date night" and later wished I had... I could have gotten some great Illuminations pics! :(

That Mickey pretzel is HUGE!! I want one! We've never gotten one. It's on the list now!

That was our first Mickey pretzel experience... and it did NOT disappoint!

You've done so much and it's only like 9am. Can't wait to hear about the rest of your day!

We did soooooo much this day! I think I'm going to need like 8 posts to get through the day... ha ha! :rotfl:

Yay! Just got caught up. :) I'm so happy for you that your MK morning went so amazing! Wow, 7 attractions by 7:30am! Reading this makes me wonder if I can wait until November next year...maybe May again! lol

Also, yes, it was so stinkin' hot that Thursday/Friday. Ugh! Can't wait to read more!

Oops, fell a little behind. *Catches up*

Yay for finding a quicker way. Pop looks so cool because long walks are the worst. Someday I shall stay there.

It's okay, I forgive you for not taking food pictures ;)

That is a very efficiently unpacked room. I could learn from you.

Aww, what a sweet surprise! That's so thoughtful.

Good pick for Addie too. How exciting!

People need to calm down. Like you said, it wasn't the hostess' fault that the system was down. But I'mg glad you got in still without issue.

How sweet with all the princesses and the cake and the card. Everything. This whole meal made me happy to read about.

Oh my goodness, I can't even imagine the people that had to be there that morning but at the same time it's so cool that you were there.

120 minutes? I might have waited, but then I don't have any kids with me. I would never do it with kids.

You got so much done though! It's impressive.

What a great morning in MK! It definitely was worth it to get up and go!

And I did not know that that the cheese dip came with the pretzel. I will definitely need to get one! :)

Loving the TR so far! Your daughter's necklace is soooo pretty! Can you tell me where you got your carriage settings for cheaper - that is a great idea! And I didn't know that they will do your pearl setting even if you don't but the setting at the store! Awesome info!

Yay! Just got caught up. :) I'm so happy for you that your MK morning went so amazing! Wow, 7 attractions by 7:30am! Reading this makes me wonder if I can wait until November next year...maybe May again! lol

I know!! I'd be lying if I said I haven't been eye'ing the school calendar for next year looking at the end of May! Yes, it was busier (and hotter) than we're used to... but I don't think it's quite as busy (or hot) as the rest of the summer months! Now... if only I can convince the hubby. :)

Also, yes, it was so stinkin' hot that Thursday/Friday. Ugh! Can't wait to read more!

It was sooooooo hot! We most definitely utilized the free ice/water while we were there! It "cooled" off a bit for a few days, but it was still so hot at the end of our trip that I just gave the girls (and myself) cups of ice to munch on. Did a great job of keeping us cool!

Oops, fell a little behind. *Catches up*

Yay for finding a quicker way. Pop looks so cool because long walks are the worst. Someday I shall stay there.

I really don't think there is a "long" walk really anywhere! On the map it looked like we were going to be miles away, but it wasn't bad at all! Now, that being said... I would really like to stay in the 50's/60's sometime to be closer to the main building! I'll be there in November... I wonder where we'll be!

It's okay, I forgive you for not taking food pictures ;)

Well, thanks! I promise I'll be better next time! I'm regretting not snapping food pics now!

That is a very efficiently unpacked room. I could learn from you.

I love the way it looks when I first unpack... then it all just goes downhill from there. Ha ha!

Aww, what a sweet surprise! That's so thoughtful.

Good pick for Addie too. How exciting!

It was mine and Addie's first time doing Pick-a-Pearl too and we loved it! It was so much fun!

People need to calm down. Like you said, it wasn't the hostess' fault that the system was down. But I'mg glad you got in still without issue.

Judging by that line, I thought it would be hours before we were seated!

How sweet with all the princesses and the cake and the card. Everything. This whole meal made me happy to read about.

It really was an awesome dinner. Food and service were excellent! I was a little on edge though, praying that the cake was actually there and surprised him like I hoped! Once I saw the cake, I breathed a sigh of relief!

Oh my goodness, I can't even imagine the people that had to be there that morning but at the same time it's so cool that you were there.

Yes it was! Glad we got to experience it bright and early since we wouldn't be able to in the middle of the night... dang children!

120 minutes? I might have waited, but then I don't have any kids with me. I would never do it with kids.

Without kids that might have been okay. Only bad thing about FP+ is that you don't get to experience the fun queue!

You got so much done though! It's impressive.

I was rather impressed with us too!

What a great morning in MK! It definitely was worth it to get up and go!

And I did not know that that the cheese dip came with the pretzel. I will definitely need to get one! :)

So, so, so worth it! And the cheese cup was one of the biggest "tips" I brought back with me from our trip! We love us some cheese with our pretzels!

Loving the TR so far! Your daughter's necklace is soooo pretty! Can you tell me where you got your carriage settings for cheaper - that is a great idea! And I didn't know that they will do your pearl setting even if you don't but the setting at the store! Awesome info!

I bought the necklaces off of eBay. But if I had to do it again, I think I would have just splurged for a setting there. I don't know if it was some reaction with the sunscreen or what, but the chain turned my neck green and the back of the carriage that was next to my skin is all tarnished! It was just getting eaten away at on the back! When you took the carriage off of the chain, it opened up and it acted like a "cage" for the pearl. So the Pick-a-Pearl people didn't have to do anything with it! Once you put the chain back through the carriage it "locked" the carriage shut so it didn't open.

May 23rd: Day 2, Part 3

After we grabbed our Mickey Pretzels, we were on a mission to get to the Hub. For what?? The 11:00 Move it, Shake it, Celebrate it Street Parade! Since it was the 24 hour party, I did not want to miss it because they were having a special “Heroes” parade and a special “Villains” parade! The 11:00 parade was the “Heroes” parade.

We got to the Hub around 10:40 so had a little time to wait. So we gobbled up our pretzels and broke out our fans… because it was hot, hot, HOT! I had bought 4 little mini fans at Wal-Mart before we left because they were only $1.50 each. Ended up being wonderful to have. Well, wonderful to have when little children’s hair weren’t getting tangled up in the blades!! Yes, this was a common theme for our trip.

Before long we heard that infectious Move it, Shake it song! They were coming!

“Hey, get up! Get loud! Start pumpin’ up the party now!”

“We’re in the right place, right now, everybody in the crowd, here’s your chance to let it out, it’s all about you! We’re all here. Let’s go! Gotta make this party grow. Together we can make it flow right through the roof! The music’s gonna start a celebration… it’s time to seize the day-ea-ea!!!!”

Now that you’re all singing along, time for some pics!

The Main Man and his Lady!

Buzz!

Mrs. Incredible and the gang!

Hercules and Goofy!

Peter, Woody and Jessie!

And those adorable Chipmunks, Chip and Dale!

Now it was time to get out and party!

Harper was so star-struck when she saw Jessie that she immediately turned shy! She just would not go up to her. I kept telling her, “Go dance with Jessie!” and she’d look at me like, “O.M.G. that’s Jessie!”. She was so cute!

In the meantime… Addie found herself a new boyfriend to dance with!

Chip!

Great time had by all! The Move it, Shake it, Celebrate it Street Parade never disappoints!

After the parade, we had a little bit of time to kill. We knew the perfect place to go to fill that time. Somewhere where there is rarely ever a wait, close to the Castle and in the AC! Hmmmm… what would that be?

The Philharmagic of course!

There was a 10 minute posted wait and got in the theater in about 5 minutes. It was 10:38 when we got in our seats. Love the Philharmagic! Such an understated attraction. How could you not love singing along, the smells and the AC!? Can you tell it was really hot? Ha ha!

We were out in just enough time to head to our next destination about 5 minutes early (10:55). Derek and my FIL took Harper while my MIL, Addie and I were headed to…

The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique!

Unfortunately, Harper was 3 days too young to play along with us. When I called to make Addie’s appointment at 180 days out, I asked about Harper and told her that her birthday was in only 3 days… but it didn’t matter. They were not budging. Oh well. I really don’t think Harper would have kept her dress on and would have messed up her hair in no time, so I don’t think she really minded. And Harper could have cared less that Addie was all dressed up. I had her dress she got from us for her birthday in the backpack and was all prepared to take her to Castle Couture to get Pixie Dusted, but it didn’t matter!

A couple months before we left, the Disney Store had a sale on their princess dresses. So, of course, I did the smart thing and bought a new dress for Addie for $28 instead of shelling out for the dress there! To keep the “newness” and “specialness” of it, I didn’t let Addie have it until this day. She was so excited to finally be able to wear it! Our first trip we bought one there and our last trip we brought one from home. I remember trying to find somewhere to change her, and we ended up changing in the Big Top dressing rooms over by Dumbo. This time I was hoping that they’d let us change there (I was sure they wouldn’t have a problem with that) and I was pleasantly surprised that they made a big deal about her going into a dressing room. So nice that they treat you exactly the same whether you’re buying a dress there or bringing one with you!

After getting a crazy hair-do on our last trip, Addie decided that she’d do my favorite hairstyle this time. Of course that made me happy!

And this would be where I could tell the 5am wake-up call was starting to take it’s toll on my little princess. Getting my hair played with always makes me sleepy and apparently it does the same for Addison too! She was nice and relaxed and VERY quiet. Her Fairy Godmother in Training was great though. She told Addie she was too quiet and I said, “I think the day is catching up with her and she’s a little tired!” and she replied, “Well, she is Sleeping Beauty!”. Ha ha! So cute!

She may be tired… but she can still turn on the charm for the Photo Pass photographer. This girl is going to give me a run for my money in about 10 years!

Bibbidi, Bobbidi, Boo!

Close your eyes and make a wish!

I’m always so amazed how they can get the MASSIVE amounts of hair she has in a little bun on the top of her head. Now that’s some magic right there!

And Mickey to follow you, wherever you may go!

Love my beautiful princess!

So sweet!! They got some great pics there too!!

Mickeys philharmagic is my VERY favorite. Maybe second to soarin. But only barely!

And we've always skipped the move it shake it parade but it looks like that may be a must do with a little guy! Gonna have to add it to my MK plan! :)

I am enjoying following along. Your girls are wonderful, I have a 6 month old granddaughter and her name is addyson Harper. I call her addie while her mom and dad want to call her Harper. Looking forward to the rest of the trip report.

Definitely don't skip it! Caden will love getting out there and dancing with the characters! It's so fun!

Joining in!
Good so far.

Welcome and thanks! Love "seeing" new faces!

Welcome! And thanks! I think they're pretty wonderful... most of the time that is! Ha ha! How lucky your granddaughter is to have the best two names in the world! :) Happy to have you following along and I hope I don't disappoint!

Awe looks like a fun trip to the BBB! Don't you just love how kids can turn on the charm whenever they feel like it?

I can only imagine Harpers excitement when she met Jessie! That would be a really big deal for her! Addie looks like she is having so much fun at the parade. I can't believe how much you accomplished during the 24 hour party so far!

May 23rd: Day 2, Part 4

When I left off Princess Addison had just gotten done being pampered and transformed into Princess Aurora! While we were at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique Derek and his dad split up. Derek headed here…

Of course he did… would Harper really want to ride anything else?? Ha ha! Trip #3 around the Carousel on Day 1. By the end of the trip, I completely lost count of how many times that girl rode it!

And then my FIL headed to the Hub to get in line for our FP+ for the Festival of Fantasy Parade! I had told him that he could wait a bit to go down there because the FP+ didn’t open up until 11:45, but he was afraid of the wrath of the Disney Diva if he screwed something up. Lol! I’m not that bad, am I?? Needless to say, he was the first person in line and got an AWESOME spot for us! Way to go Mike!!

After the Carousel, Derek and Harper headed to meet his dad and save spots for us for the parade. When I found out that on the 24 hour party day they were having 2 Festival of Fantasy parades I was over the moon excited! With the normal scheduled time of 3:00, I knew we would be missing out on it because we planned to go back to Pop and throw naps in the mix every day. This 12:00 parade was PERFECT for us! And then being able to score a FP+ for it was clutch! I was worried about the timing of it all and thought there would be no way we’d find a front row spot for the parade with having an 11:00 BBB appointment. Everything just worked out perfectly!

We got out of the BBB around 11:50 and made our way down to the FP+ area so Addie could meet her royal court… and get a Frozen Lemonade that she was still obsessed with since she didn’t get one the day before!

Before long, we saw this coming down the street!

The Parade’s about to start… or so I thought. After the Grand Marshals went by it was still FOREVER before the parade got there!

How fun are they!? Looks like the Heroes won in the Festival of Fantasy parade!

My thoughts on the new parade… I LOVED it! The floats and costumes were spectacular! And all those princesses… my girls (and myself!) were in heaven! And now… let the massive amounts of Festival of Fantasy parade pictures commence.

The most popular sisters!

That is one happy snowman!

Rapunzel and Eugene having a moment…

She found her dingle hopper!

Harper was in LOVE with this parade! She was just in awe of everything. Addison on the other hand was sitting in the stroller busy whining, crabbing and acting like a girl whose parents didn’t just take her to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. Oh yes… it was most definitely PAST nap time!

Sassy Tink!

Tick tock… tick tock…

May 23rd: Day 2, Part 5

Warning, VERY picture heavy! Is that ever really a problem though?? :)

Festival of Fantasy Parade continued…

Chasing the wind and touching the sky…

Creepy.

How’s that for timing?!?

That’s one evil looking dragon!

Up close and personal!

Oh Grumpy…

So cute!

Hi Chip and Dale!

Gosh Minnie… You’ve always been a princess to me!

What a fantastic parade! The detail that was put into everything from floats to costumes was amazing! Soooooo glad we had such an awesome spot to view it and that we were actually able to see it! I highly recommend it!

Awe looks like a fun trip to the BBB! Don't you just love how kids can turn on the charm whenever they feel like it?

Oh yes... little stinkers.

I can only imagine Harpers excitement when she met Jessie! That would be a really big deal for her! Addie looks like she is having so much fun at the parade. I can't believe how much you accomplished during the 24 hour party so far!

She was soooo excited. She just froze... it was an incredible moment for sure! I'm so happy with every aspect of our 24 hour party day! And I owe a lot of that to my travel party... they were troopers for sure!

**Real Life mini-update: Yesterday I bought tickets for Frozen on Ice for the four of us for March 1st... so far away! I sent my MIL a text telling her that tickets were on sale now in case they wanted to get some for our nephew and after telling me, "Awesome" it was immediately followed with a text...

MIL: "I think I need a Disney vacation next summer!"
Me: "I'll be sure to tell your son... :)" "Because I think I need to plan a Disney trip next summer. Ha ha!"
MIL: "I was counting on your expert skills!"

So I immediately texted my hubby and told him what his mom said. Funny guy replied with...

Hubby: "Ha! She buyin :)"
Me: "She's counting on my skills... I mean, we need to go ;)"

Soooooo... I'm working on him... and yes honey, I know you'll probably read this eventually (hopefully I have had you agree before you do!) but is a trip next summer in the works?!?!?

I know my in-laws want to take our nephew, who is 2 1/2 months older than Harper, when he is 4 (the age Addie was on our first trip). So I figured that they were wanting to go probably next summer... but now I know they do! Derek had told me that he wasn't sure when we'd be able to go back as a family next after this past trip (I have a girl's trip in November for the Wine and Dine 1/2)... but I think that because he loves to please me and his momma, we'll try to work something out. I'm already picking up some extra shifts at work to stash away some cash!

I'll keep you all updated with this potentially exciting news!**

May 23rd: Day 2, Part 6

After the Festival of Fantasy parade we had another Fast Pass to use! I was pretty nervous about this one because I had been reading here on the DIS that people were getting turned away when they tried to use it! I think I was pretty much holding my breathe the entire time until we were seated at our table. What am I talking about?? The Be Our Guest backdoor lunch Fast Pass starting at 12:40!

As I’m in line at the check-in podium they were turning the lady away in front of me who had a legit FP. She was all like, “I’ve got the e-mail right here! What do you mean you can’t find me!?” Oh God… are they going to turn me away too? Because I did NOT have a legit FP! I used the link and was able to make our Fast Passes there. So right at 12:40, the guest left the CM next to the lady having issues and I nervously said, “We have 2 reservations for the last name Ebert.” And I proceeded to look at her screen… low and behold, there we were!!! WHEW!!! The only issue was that my MIL and FIL’s menu selections that we made the week before weren’t showing up, so we had to wait in the line to order via computer in the Castle.

We could have sat down, but decided to just stay with them. I’m glad we did because the CM at the podium before you order said ours weren’t showing up either! No biggie… since we had all preordered we knew exactly what we wanted. When I had my MIL and FIL preorder their food, I thought they were going to think I was crazy… but they ended up being very thankful because they already knew what they wanted and it made their ordering process a breeze.

We all finish ordering and we find a table in the back of the ballroom. This was my in-laws first experience inside of the Beast’s Castle and they were blown away with the detailing that went into it. We got up to fill our drinks and as we were coming back, our food was there already! Apologizing again, but there are no food pictures. I guess this text heavy update is making up for the last picture heavy update!

No pics, but I can at least tell you what we all ordered! I ordered the Carved Turkey Sandwich on the Baquette and a Strawberry Cupcake for dessert. Derek ordered the Croque Monsieur and the Triple Chocolate Cupcake. My MIL ordered the Vegetable Quiche and a Strawberry Cupcake. My FIL ordered the Croque Monsieur and a Strawberry Cupcake. And Addison ordered the kids Mickey Meatloaf with Fries and a Cookie… despite me telling her that I wasn’t sure she was going to like it. She just HAD to have it. And what do you know… she didn’t like it. She ate a few bites of the meatloaf, the fries, the cookie and had a little sliver of mine and Derek’s sandwiches. Harper just nibbled on everybody’s food, but mostly ate her pretzels and applesauce pouch. She’s not the biggest eater… unless she’s snacking.

This was our first experience with lunch at Be Our Guest and it was FABULOUS! Everyone (except Addie) enjoyed their lunches and we were very happy! And I can’t believe our meal was a Quick Serve dining credit!!! Phenomonal! I was hoping to get this FP later on in our trip because *spoiler alert* we had dinner scheduled here the next night and was hoping that would be my in-laws first experience with Be Our Guest, but this ended up being perfect! And it was so nice to get inside and out of the heat!

We left Be Our Guest at 1:40 and it was most definitely time to head back to Pop Century for some naps! On our way out we passed the “Villains” Move it, Shake it. So fun! The park was WAY more crowded on our way out than it had been all day long. The Magic Kingdom was booming while we were eating! We walked out of the Magic Kingdom at 1:50 with plans to come back before our dinner ADR.

We got to the buses and there was a Pop bus there, but it was soooooo full. After our 7 hour day in the hot sun, I made the decision to wait for the next bus where we knew we’d have a seat. Ended up being an awful decision! This was most definitely our worst bus experience of the trip. We waited FOREVER for another bus to come. With it being the 24 hour party, this really surprised me!

We ended up getting back to Pop at 3:00. We had originally planned to meet back at the buses at 4:00 to go back to the Magic Kingdom before dinner for our 4:35-5:35 FP+ for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Because of the fact we got back at 3:00 and seeing how the crowds were on our way out, we made the decision to skip going back to the Magic Kingdom before dinner. This ended up being a WONDERFUL decision. Two super early wake-up days in a row, a morning/afternoon jammed packed full of events… everyone needed more than an hour nap! And we accomplished so much in the morning that I was completely comfortable skipping out on the few rides that we’d get to do if we went back.

Of course Addie protested a nap, but we got back and got her dress off and in a matter of minutes we had this on our hands…

Sleeping Beauty!

And she wasn’t the only one!

Let me tell ya… those were some awesome naps!

After naps, we met my in-laws outside of our rooms and headed to the buses! We were down at the buses at 5:45. Normally we would have taken the bus to the Magic Kingdom and hopped on the Monorail there, but with the craziness of the 24 hour party we decided to head to Epcot instead and get on a monorail there. I really think we made the best decision because the Monorail at Epcot was not busy at all and then we got to hop on the resort Monorail and completely bypass the Magic Kingdom!

Look how crowded it was behind me at the Epcot Monorail… love it!

We were all well rested, all smiles and happy on our way to dinner! We were all so happy that even Harper was agreeable to wearing a princess dress! Unfortunately, she refused to wear her Cinderella dress that we gave her that day for an early birthday present. But I wasn’t fighting it… she would rather be Belle? No problem! She’s at least wearing a dress! Ha ha!

So why was the Cinderella dress important? We had a dinner reservation at 1900 Park Fare tonight!

We got to the Grand Floridian at 6:40, 20 minutes before our ADR time. Since we had a bit of time before our ADR, we decided to take our time making our way down there to admire the hotel!

What a beautiful lobby.

The band was busy playing… so my girls were busy acting like princesses and dancing!

Dancing on the stairs…

Posing for pictures…

\

And twirling through the lobby…

All the way to the 1900 Park Fare check-in desk!

We got there, Derek went to park the stroller, I checked us in, got our buzzer and we all went to pose for our picture…

And within minutes we were seated… about 10 minutes early!

May 23rd: Day 2, Part 7

After strolling through the lobby of the Grand Floridian and getting seated 10 minutes early for our 1900 Park Fare ADR, we were quickly greeted with Prince Charming himself! Before even going up to grab a plate of food!

Then I think we sent my in-laws and maybe Derek up to the buffet to grab some food for the girls because we knew we’d be having a visitor very soon!

Cinderella! I think my in-laws missed her, but that’s okay because they met her the night before at Akershus.

Cinderella and Prince Charming were okay. Not super talkative and basically just did their job… but that’s okay. Aren’t most people really there for Lady Tremaine and the Step-Sisters anyways?!?

My in-laws got back to the table and Derek got back with a plate for Addison, not Harper (because apparently it’s too hard to grab two plates… grrrrr.) It looked like we had a bit of time before more visitors, so he went back up for a plate for himself and I went back up for a plate for Harper and one for me. Multi-tasking, it’s a skill.

Food was great, just like last time! We were eating our dinners when we had our next visitor!

I’m pretty sure it was her, but she saw Harper’s Rapunzel doll on the table and took it and stormed off. She ended up at Cinderella and she showed her the doll. Not sure what she said to her, but she was hysterical! She marched back over to us and threw the doll on the table and said something like, “Here… take this disgusting thing!”

I can’t remember what we talked about with her, but of course it was hilarious. She was a fantastic Lady Tremaine!

Harper was pouting about something, but it was perfect! She had the Lady Tremaine pose down pat! So funny!

When we were at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique earlier that day our Fairy Godmother in Training said something about 1900 Park Fare and we told her that we were actually heading there that night! She told us that we had to ask the Step-Sisters which one was their mother’s favorite. So we were so excited to ask and see the hilarity that followed after we did!

We were pretty excited when we saw Drizella coming up!

She sat down at our table and we asked her, “So, which one of you is the favorite?” She replied with, “Me, of course! MOM! MOM!!! MOMMY!!!!!” to which Lady Tremaine (who was at another table) turned around and said, “What Drizella?” “Hey mom! I’m your favorite, right??” “Yes, of course you’re my favorite (with a disgusted look on her face).” It was great! She then turned to my MIL and asked her who her favorite granddaughter was. Addison thought this was hilarious!

Of course she replied, “I don’t have a favorite… I love them all the same.” Drizella loved that response and just went with it. Great M&G with her!

Harper wanted in the picture, but was still pouting and I think Drizella said something like, “Hug your sister, because you’re really the favorite.” It was so funny!

Next up… Anastasia!

After she signed the books, we asked her who was her mother’s favorite. And of course, she replied with, “Me!” And then she asked Addison, “Who is your mother’s favorite?” fully expecting Addison to say, “Me!”. What did Addie say? “Harper is”. Oh my gosh… we lost it!

Anastasia’s reaction?

“Do they make you do all the dishes and all the chores? Do you guys make her do all the chores??”

It was another great M&G!

Dinner was wonderful! And Lady Tremaine and the Step-Sister’s antics went on the entire dinner. So fun just watching them! After we grabbed dessert and ate it, the head chef was heading back to the back after meeting with a table (allergies, I assume.) and my FIL stopped her and said, “Are you the chef?” To which she replied, “Yes.” and he said, “I didn’t eat one thing that was bad. Everything was delicious and these desserts are wonderful!” She was very happy to hear that and went back to the back with a smile on her face. What a nice thing to stop her and say to her!

After dinner we were heading back to Pop Century because our friends from Miami were on their way!

We left the Grand Floridian at 8:00 and we hopped on the Monorail to Magic Kingdom. What a mad house! I haven’t heard any reports of what it was like inside. If it was as bad as last year or not… but it looked it from the outside. And a HUGE part of me was itching to get in there and experience it! Man I wanted to put the girls to bed and head back there… but the realistic part of me knew that we had to be parents and entertain our friends the next day and I was certain nobody would like me if I didn’t get some sleep before our day the next day!

When we got back, we stopped into Everything Pop and Grandma told the girls that they could each pick something. Addison had been bugging us all day about buying her something and we kept telling her that she needed to wait until closer to the end of the trip to pick out her gifts. Yeah right… we didn’t even make it the first full day before we gave in.

So Grandma and Grandpa ended up buying Addison a Duffy Bear and a pajama outfit for him. This girl was obsessed with Duffy… and she knew NOTHING about him. She bugged us our last trip for one and we didn’t get her one because of that reason. So Grandma got her one since she was still obsessed with him. Harper ended up finding a little “Boo” doll from Monster’s Inc. that she wouldn’t let go and a Jessie hat. Grandma and Grandpa ended up buying her both of them.

After our stop in the store, we all headed back to our rooms. We were officially done… except my FIL who I think snuck back down to the Food Court for some ice cream! Pretty sure that happened this night!

We got back to our rooms around 9:40 and I threw the girls in the shower with me and while Derek was in the shower we all got ready for bed! Those two were out as soon as their heads hit the pillow… that’s what I call a successful day!!

I was hopping in bed around 11:00 when I got the text that our friends had finally arrived at Pop! They had left Miami way later than planned, but at least… they were there! Derek left the room around 11:15 to meet them in the lobby and since their son was sleeping, he helped Sean get all their stuff out of the car and into their room. Despite putting on their reservation that they were traveling with us they ended up being in the 50’s section… the complete opposite end of the resort.

I couldn’t seem to fall asleep while Derek was gone, so I was awake when he got back in the room. We ended up falling asleep around midnight. What a long day!!! And the morning was going to come way too soon! We planned on meeting our friends at 8:00am!

OMG! your pics make me want to see the FoF parade so bad! It looks so cool! Those floats...Disney has outdone themselves with that one!

That looks like a great nap time! Sometimes you just need a nap in Disney!

Everyone looks so cute dresses for 1900PF. I am glad you were able to get Harper in a princess dress. She reminds me so much of Charlotte. Seriously these girls need to actually play together some day. Although I am a little afraid of what they may come up with together!:lmao:

I really hope another trip works out for you next summer! I think between all you girls you can get your DH on board. I mean if you are already picking up extra shifts how can he say no, right?;)

Oh my gosh... I know. They'd be all sorts of trouble!!!

I hope so too! I was like, "How about I put all the money away from my extra shifts and that's my Disney money." And he was all like, "How about we put that money away and a percentage of it can be your Disney money." Ughhh... practical people. No fun! Ha ha!
