I haven't been on these boards in a few months and found the recent posts about CM so interesting! I personally love their albums and paper and I find the simplicity of their products almost refreshing because I personally get too overwhelmed with a lot of paper and techniques(how boring am I?)... but I was wondering if you all agreed with me-- I can't stand their website!

I just don't understand why I can't find more layouts using their products! Is this because they want their customers to buy the layout idea books? I just don't get it!!!

I also find it frustrating that I can't do a simple "search"! I would love to be able to type in "Disney" or ABC albums and find ideas.. or even type in an event like "Easter" or whatever.

Is anyone else out there disappointed with their website??? Sorry for the venting!
Jennifer

I'm with you Jennifer!
As the whole CM thing was new to me, I only knew of ACMoore and Michael's
I am a person who needs to "see it in big print" I like to see "suggested retail prices" Product lines and styles. The Sizzix website is more user friendly and nicer to look at. Though I can't wait to get me new CM catalog.

The thing that gets me most is when I want to see product and pricing. What is the deal? Is pricing not consistant that they are willing to list in the open?

Nah, the prices have been consistent for a number of years. I'm guessing it all has to do with the fact that you should be finding out about the product details from your consultant.

And you all have your very own CMC, right? ;)

If you want pricing, do a search for a consultant and look at their site. They will not know you were even there, unless you post an order from the site. Just enter a city and state and go. All pricing is consistant. I still send my clients to my upline in Wisconsin's website, 'cause I don't have one yet.

I hear your pain. My girlfriend complained about the layouts, "I'm not a professional scrapper but those layouts need help!" I think they want you to buy the books. It used to be thats what crops were for, to exchange ideas but if you can't make a crop the only source is the idea books. The website isn't going to help! I work weekends and I just found a consultant who has Friday crops and I am so psyched! My pages were fading....
