Does anyone know if we can request any particular room at the CBR? If so, where is the best place to request to be near Disney Transport/Food Court/beach etc etc etc?

Does anyone favour ground floor (1st floor if you are American) or 1st floor (2nd floor if you are American) and if so why?

What is the difference between the buildings with red roofs and the other buildings?

Many thanks folks.

No difference in the rooms. There are different villages with different color schemes.

There are two preferred villages that are close to main pool, food court. Martinique and Trinidad North. They cost $15 extra daily.

You can make a request for a room but keep in mind that it is just a request. Trinidad South is very far so you may not want to stay there but there isn't a bad location at CBR.

You might want to read the CBR FAQ thread listed below for more information on the resort.

Safetymom, I do believe you are the CBR Queen. You have provided me with so much helpful info. You have been a true blessing to our family. Thank you for all the advise, all the pictures and for all the knowledge you share.

EmmasGrammy, glad I have been helpful. I love CBR if you haven't noticed. :) I now live about 15 mins away but when I want a break from the world I go over to CBR. I have lost count of the number of times I have stayed there.

I have friends coming to town and they will be staying at CBR.

My favorite in Jamaica is building 45. It's a nice walk to OPR and only takes about 3 minutes.

we stayed in Martinique and it was great close to the bus, food court, and pool. the location was great.

we also had other family members stay in barbados and my mom said that it was far from everything and quite a hike to the food court.

good luck

This will be our fourth time staying at CBR and we love it - last May we got a great rate of $94 a night and ended up in a preferred view room (just by merely asking) and it was Jamaica, Bldg. 45, Room 4556 (2nd Floor) and it was the best view. Besides being the best view, we had heard on these forums that Jamiaca has the best bus stop - first to p/u and first to d/o and I would say that happened about 85-90% of the time. It was a nice quiet less than 5 minute walk to the food court and about a minute walk to the bus stop. We are actually heading down there again in about a month and have requested that same room - it can't hurt to try, right:) Good luck!!!
