Where's the best place to stop for groceries when using a car service?

We've been stopping at Publix every trip but I'm interested in alternatives for a grocery stop. Any ideas? Thanks.

No idea - I just explain what I'm interested in picking up and let the driver decide. Ususally Publix, though.

Are you looking for something special, or just something cheaper? I don't think you could go much cheaper than Publix, right?

You didn't mention what car service you are thinking of using - we used Quicksilver last year and I told the driver I wanted to stop at Publix. He told me that is the only one they will go to. It worked out great for us, but this might be something to keep in mind if you want to go somewhere other than Publix.

One of the other car services uses Albertsons, they encourage customers to fax their order ahead.

yea albertsons is good...we have been taken there before from southern elegance..nice store..but publix is also...

We've been using Tiffany Towncar. I kept seeing posts about Albertsons and Target and Walmart. I don't know the area well enough to know if there was a better place to try. Sounds like we'll stick with Publix or check out Albertsons. Thanks.

Tiffany doesn't like to go to Wal-Mart. It is too far out of the way, they say. They prefer Publix. If it is after 10pm, the only place they will stop is Gooding's or a convenience store.
