Got any ideas? I was thinking of Park Fare at the Grand Floridian. Where is it truely festive with a great atmosphere? Thanks

Our Christmas breakfast is always 1900 Park Fare, and dinner is always Boma.

This is a great question. Interested to see the responses. I think that we were considering doing breakfast Christmas morning at Kona, but that's just because we love the Tonga Toast and Macademia Nut Pancakes. I don't think the restaurant is the "festive" that you're looking for, but ah well.

I think 1900 Park Fare, or any other restaurant in the GF - GF Cafe for instance- would be great, as the GF does such a great job decorating. Buffet dining as well as dining with characters are also great options.

We are eating at Chef Mickey's. Everyone in the family is looking forward to it. We were at WDW for Christmas 2007 and only had dinner plans so I think a Christmas morning buffet with characters is going to be so much fun. Good luck choosing.

We're having breakfast at 'Ohana. It's actually one of our favorite places for breakfast. We're very excited!

You've gotten some great responses already! 1900 Park Fare, Ohana, Chef Mickey's...all great places to eat breakfast. I was also thinkin' Crystal Palace!

I know its so tough to choose!! Im leaning towards 1900 ParkFare, i had previously wanted Crystal Palace but so many people have said to avoid MK on christmas day. I read somewhere that last year 1900 Parkfare had xmas items on the menu but i guess thats just lunch right?

If i were there, I think I would actually pick Whispering Canyon. I LOVE the Wilderness Lodge tree. I think it just seems so homey and Christmassy- a little more to me than some of the other resorts. I guess just cuz it's a cozy/less "fancy" resort.
Though GF is gorgeous too obviously.

We had Christmas breakfast at 'Ohana last year. It was great!

In '08 it was Akershus at Epcot.

This year we chose Cape May Cafe, mainly because we're staying at the BW.

I'm not going for Christmas but a PP said WL at Whispering Canyon and I have to agree that place screams christmas to me , even when its not decorated ! :)

We have booked for Crystal palace, never been there before, never been at Christmas before, but we are expecting it to be crazy, we just want to go for the experience, not for the rides etc. Are we mad?

This is for the two PP who mentioned MK for Christmas morning bfast. We did the MK last year on Christmas day and had an awesome time!! We got a "picnic bfast" from the contempo cafe of muffins, juice, etc the night before and stashed them in our frig. We took it with us to RD and ate while we waited for 7am RD. We had the best time all morning with a very manageable crowd. At 11 we got CS from Diamond Horseshoe to go on trays and lined up to claim our parade spot right in front of the resturant. That way we had great seats, ate our lunch and the kids could do the shooting corral to kill time. The bathrooms are right behind you and when the parade is over you turn around and walk out through Adventureland. By the time the parade was over the crowd was OPPRESSIVE but we had done everything we wanted, saw the Christmas parade on Christmas Day and went back to the Contemporary to swim and nap. We had dinner at WCC and the decor is just perfect for Christmas. It was hands down the best Christmas morning ever and will plan to do the exact same thing in another couple years. I have a feeling all day on Christmas 2010 I will be hearing..."remember last year....":santa:

We will be eating Christmas Morning breakfast in the always festively decorated, delicious food serving, yet never crowded restaurant -- our kitchen :lmao: Couldn't resist!!

I agree about Wilderness Lodge for Christmas breakfast... I  the WL and sure the WC food isn't the best in the world, but the atmosphere at the WL more than makes up for it!!
