We have 3 contracts:
SSR - bought 10 years ago when there wasn't much choice
OKW - Added on. Liked the price and the size of the units
BLT - wanted to try a monorail resort
Will probably sell two of these and believe it or not SSR will most likely be the one we are keeping. Not because of ease of selling or price but because we like it there.
SSR - we go off property quite a bit by car. It is very convenient to come and go with the parking and fairly easy access to get off property. I LOVE the new bridge to DTD. DTD is one of my favorite places. I'm not too fond of Boardwalk.
BLT - sure the monorail is convenient but a lot of what we like to do is not on the monorail. It's a high rise. We live in a high rise in real life so prefer to have more access to the grounds w/o an elevator. 1BR is really more than 2 of us need. I don't care for their studio as much as the other studios. But if you are a family of 4 who likes MK the 1 BR with 2 bathrooms and multiple sleeping options on the Monorail would be terrific.
OKW - I love the huge rooms. Especially the 2 BR when traveling with a group.
We are retired and have a lot of flexibility about when we go. I have been able to get other resorts at the 7 mo. mark - even BLT.
BWV - my least favorite place. Parking is awful. Valet parking is worse. I've waited over an hour to get my car more than once - and not at end of night. Almost missed a plane once. Not much at Boardwalk that interests me.
BCV - liked it but again not a Boardwalk fan. The walk to Epcot is nice but the monorail is too at a monorail resort.
Animal Kingdom - we stay there on occasion. Nice change. We like the animals and the restaurants. It is far away from everything though.
