Would you all rather stay in a one bedroom board walk view at BW, or One bedroom at BCV? I am stuck between the two. I have never stayed at BWV and itchen to stay there, but I love BCV. So please help with some advise, thanx.

Although I am sure you will get votes for both, mine is for BWV. While I like BCV, I LOVE BWV. There is so much going on at the boardwalk, there are lots of great restaurants plus a great bakery and food kiosks right on the Boardwalk. At night there are entertainers and it's just a fun place to be.

Well if it is a BW view, that would be my 1st choice. If it was a BW pool/garden view vs BCV, I'd go with BCV.

We're the exact opposite--we like BWV but we LOVE BCV...BCV's Storm-Along Bay Pool is a draw (and you can't pool hop to it, whereas you can pool hop to the BWV pools)...I just like the "vibe" at BCV much better...and I like the CMs at BCV better, too, although I realize that can be hit or miss...

I think if I were you I'd want to try the new place...there's something cool about trying a new resort!

Have fun whatever you choose...

I'd stay at BWV before BCV. Having said that, it's solely based on what I've read and the pics I've seen as I haven't stayed at either. ;)

I vote for BWV. I think that the Boardwalk view is the BEST view at any resort. I love listening to the horns on the Friendship boats. I like waking up early an looking out at Crescent Lake with the calm water before any boats are out.

It would be a toss up for me BUT you should stay at BWV simply because you haven't stayed there yet. BCV will always be there to welcome you back on your next trip.

BCV if you have kids along due to access to SAB pool.

BWV with BW view if adults only trip. A little noisier though but well worth it if you like to "people watch".

We have stayed at both resorts many times. My first choice is BCV, we just love it there. We have never stayed in a boardwalk view room, and I have to say, I would really love to. I say try the BoardWalk! Even if you are not crazy about it, at least you will be so close you can go over to the BC for a visit!;) Not sure how long you are staying, but perhaps you could split your stay? I prefer to stay in the same place for the entire stay, but we have had some split stays.

Not a fan of BWV in any way. I'd choose BCV. We drive and the parking at BWV is a mess. So much easier at BCV. Plus BCV is quieter. We're not into all the action on the BW.

They are more alike than different, and it would be hard to go wrong. BCV is a little bit more quiet. BWV is a bit more "in the action." BCV does have Stormalong Bay, but I confess I don't really "get" why everyone likes it so much---I thought it was anticipointing. BCV views are a little underwhelming, while Boardwalk View is, well, BW view.

Since we own at BCV I would normally say there, but you said that you have not had a chance to stay at BWV so I would stay there.

Both are fantastic and my family likes both pools, but SAB is much better if you have young children.

Food is better at BWV, but you can always walk there.

I think BCV is better, but like you said. You are itchen to stay at the BWV.

I agree about the BC pool. Don't care for it. It is very difficult to keep track of kids there. It is so huge I didn't feel as relaxed as I do other places. it is also annoying walking to the bar- I felt like it was a maze trying to get there.

I do love the atmosphere at the BC and the proximity to Epcot. But the food options, bakery, pizza, entertainment, pool bar, ice cream on the boarwalk before bed ;) all make BWV one of my favs.

I have stayed at both and I think I love them equally but for different reasons.

BCV does have storm along bay and felt like a shorter walk to Epcot. There is also the beach to relax on at night (however, you could at BWV too). I have stayed at BC 2 times and am going there again this summer. It is a bit quieter than BW too.

BWV is much livelier. There is always action going on there. There are lots of food choices but again you can walk to them from BC. I had a studio preferred view, but we were over the Wyland studios which was a a view of Epcot and the BW. It was a great view. HOwever, there were some loud party goers at 2 or 3 in the morning. DIdin't wake my kids but scared the devil out of me. So if you have little ones it could get loud on the BW. My boys were 5 and 6 at the time of travel and didn't like the BW as much as BC. I think they will when they get older.

NO complaints with staff or cleanliness at either hotel. THey are both maintained beautifully and CM's were wonderful. I would suggest BW for something new and then you will know where to stay in the future.

Thank you all for the replies, I guess it is still a toss up. We need to make a decision though.
