Where would you stay

We don't want to waste points on our arrival in Orlando by booking a Dvc room as we do not arrive off the aircraft from Britain till 2 pm. Can anybody recomend a hotel either on I Drive or the Disney area for a modest cost.

If you go to the Orlando Hotels and Attractions board, I'll bet you'll get lots of responses. One possible option might be the Holiday Inn as recommended by this site. The rate is reasonable, and, as I understand it, any hotel recommended by this site is inspected for quality and friendlyness.

We once stayed at the Clarion Universal that is/was listed on this site...great rate, nice hotel. It's right off I drive near Universal.

Instead of using your points for a dvc resort, why not try for the All Stars resort. The resort is classified as a value resort, so maybe that could be an alternative!! Just thinking. Thats what we are doing our first night during our July vacation because we expect to arrive around 4-5pm
