Where would you stay in or near Ashford?

Hi all!

Just planning our overnight accommodation for our next DLP fix. We have stayed at both the Travelodge and Premier Inn at Eureka Park, but we can now book the Holiday Inn for less!

Has anyone ever stayed at the Holiday Inn, or would you recommend that we look at other alternatives? We need a hotel for the Sunday before we go to DLP and the Friday when we return.

There will be 5 of us travelling, so would probably need 2 rooms.

TIA.

Just check which holiday inn it is. There are two in ashford, I've stayed at the hothfield one lots for work, its perfectly fine, just 5 mins off the motorway. Comfy beds, good breakfast, and quiet.

ive stayed at the holiday inn central twice. nice and comfy with friendly staff. lovely breakfast too. And theres a harvester right across the road for a fairly nice/cheapish evening meal if required.

ive booked their eurostar package twice. good value ive found at around the £100 for a nights stay with breakfast and you can park your car there for upto a week.

The Hothfield travelodge isn't practical for the Eurostar, its by a BeefEater but miles from the station and a taxi is expensive *ouch*
Check the Ashford thread in the sticky threads, I haven't updated the prices but there are links to the hotels in there. Maybe a mod can post the link as I'm on the app via my phone :-) If you need any more help, give me a shout.
