Hey all :wave2:
What is your fave place to eat at DTD? We did Tortilla Joes and HOB last time and like them both, however we want to do something different this time on our first night in. It would be nice to be a little on the less expensive side, as we will have 4 adults and 3 kids in our party, but that's not the only determining factor. So let's have it! What do you like to eat while at DTD?

....and btw bonus points for FOOD PORN pics! hehehe

Well I don't know when your trip is, but if it is this summer I would go to the New Earl of Sandwich. It is sooooo good. I go to the one at WDW everytime I visit. The sandwiches are all 5.95 there. I am sure here they will be more, my guess is 6.95. They also have great sides of close slaw and great cupcakes.

I love the pizza at Naples. They have the same pizza next door at the quick service place, but it is no cheaper than going and sitting down in a nice atmosphere and being waited on. Plus you can get whatever you want on your pie, unlike the quick place that only has certain premade pizzas. I thought it was pretty reasonable for the yummy pizza.

If they haven't been you may want to take the kids to Rain Forest Cafe.

I live Catal and Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen for the food. If you want to go cheaper, try ESPN Zone.

Not exactly in DTD, but I suggest going to Tangaroa Terrace at the DLH. Tasty food, nice outdoor and indoor seating, and Trader Sam's is right next door. Enjoy a stroll around the newly-refurbished resort when you're done. Here's the menu on the DIS.

Ok, we love pizza, however MIL cannot eat cheese, so I guess Naples is out.

Would love to do Catal Skiing, but I think that is WAY out of the price range!

Tangaroa Terrace sound yummy! That kalua Pork flatbread sounds so sooo good! I dig that they put fresh cilantro on it too! Love the stuff! :goodvibes
Anyone had this? Is it as good as it sounds?

My family's favorite is Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen. The jambalaya is really good, as is the Chicken Bercy. For dessert, the beginets are a must. We also like the Sunday Brunch.

They have lots of other menu items beside pizza. The pizza comes in 3 different sizes so you can order to suit your group. MIL or anyone else for that matter could order any other item they want.

I would still go to Naples. They have many items besides Pizza. The service is quick, sometimes too quick and the food is excellent.

We love Uva when the weather's nice. It's still okay even when it's cool as they have heaters. They pour great drinks and most of the food is great. We go for lunch or early dinner with the kids, and it's fairly quiet, but I think it does get rather busy in the evenings with a more adult crowd.

Naples is also a favorite for our family. They do have lots of dishes, and will also make cheese-less pizza for those that request it. They have a personal size pizza option, as that would not be popular with cheese lovers.

If they haven't been you may want to take the kids to Rain Forest Cafe.

Since you have kids I would second Rain Forest Cafe. If they are younger kids, definitely sit inside, they have audio-animations animals that come to life once in a while, which can be a nice teaser to Disney... With high school aged kids, sitting outside on the balcony is fun - with the outdoor feeling and the torches. Enjoy!

Our favorite is the Jazz Kitchen. The food and atmosphere there are so good! If you're looking at something a little more economical, then I agree with Tiny Little Seed (TLS). :)
