I need help picking a restaurant!
I have CG booked for my first night - am planning a trip with my best friend to celebrate my birthday in February :cool1:
I have had dinner at CG once - coinciding with Wishes - and it was very festive. My friend has not eaten there.
I just discovered that there will be no showing of Wishes on the night I have CG booked :smooth: Wondering whether I should try something else...
We will also be having dinner at:
Jiko
V&A and
Citrico's
We are staying at AKL :flower1:
Where would you have dinner? We love good food and wine ::yes::
Thanks

We love the Yachtsmans steakhouse. On our last trip we ate there 3 times! We loved the wine selection there. The staff really knew the wines on offer and what would go well with the food we chose. On our 3rd visit they even remembered us and what wine we had a few days before!! We loved the CG too and am looking forward to eating there on our next trip.

Are you absolutely sure there won't be a showing of wishes that night? Is there a chance that it might Change? I know that has happened to us. I would hate to see you change your plans and then see that it Will be going on. How about this, Make Ps's somewhere else also but keep the ones you have. Then you have not lost out.

Our favorite restaurant at WDW is Artist Point. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is much more relaxing than most WDW restaurants. We don't have wine with our meals, but they do have a specialized wine list. For a more festive feel, I would recommend Flying Fish, on the Boardwalk. Our favorite restaurant inside the parks is Les Chefs de France hands down. For a more adult experience try Le Bistro. Bon Apetit! :)

For good food and wines - I like Flying Fish, Blue Zoo and Yachtsman Steakhouse.

Early Happy Birthday!!!

I would find out when Wishes is being shown and reschedule for that night. I tried the CG last year for the first time and it was wonderful. The food was great and it was amazing to see the fireworks from a different perspective.

For some other great dining, I'd suggest the following:

O'Hana's
Yachtsman Steakhouse
Le Cellier
Rose & Crown (if Illuminations is being shown at say 9pm, make a ps for around 7:30pm and make sure they note that it's your birthday and you'd prefer a patio table. Check-in early and request a patio table. Tell them about your special occassion and that you won't mind waiting for one. You'll be glad you did!)
Spoodles
