Where would you eat?

I am going to WDW staying at CBR with my son (5) and DH. DH will be there 3 of the 5 days. We are on regular Dining Plan.

The night we get there, it will just be just my son and I. My question is where should we eat? I would prefer it to be at a resort or DTD, right now, we are booked for Shutters since it would be convenient.

Our other plans are as follows.
Son and I arrive in afternoon
Friday -Shutters 5 pm (my son and I)-tentative
husband arrives at night
Saturday - Crystal Palace breakfast, Ohana dinner
Sunday-Donald Safari late breakfast
Monday(husband leaves after lunch)-Le Cellier lunch
Tuesday-Sci Fi for lunch (just son and I)
Wednesday-Son and I leave

I also thought about Chef Mickey, we ate dinner there 2 years ago and just did not like the food, and since we already have two character meals, I am not sure we need more :confused3

We also like Boma, so that is an option, although hubby would feel left out ;) AND we wouldn't be trying anything new

I would maybe spend the evening at the Boardwalk and try somewhere near there? Perhaps the ESPN, or Clam Bake Buffet at Cape May if you like sea food?

Or if you're spending the evening in DTD what about Raglan Road?

My son and I love seafood (and DH does not)...I am seriously considering the Clam Bake

Sounds like a perfect opportunity to give it a shot then :thumbsup2

I've been looking through pics on dining reports and it looks amazing, the seafood and the oreo bonbon desserts

Whispering Canyon in the Wilderness Lodge is a great place to eat with kids too. Plus it is a fun resort to hang around at and look around.
