We have never been to Universal. We will be there over Thanksgiving, probably a pool day (if warm enough). Which hotel might serve the adults a kinda traditional Thanksgiving day meal that is good? And would we need reservations and finally where do I call for reservations? Thanks D
That's an easy one. Either Trattoria or Mama Della's - both at the Portofino.
We have eaten Thanksgiving dinner the past few years at Trattoria and love it. It is a buffet, but the food is outstanding and there is so much of it. There are 3 rooms full of food.
There is the traditional Thanksgiving fare that includes everything from pumpkin soup to scrumptious garlic mashed potatoes, to gravy, stuffing, you name it. There is a seafood bar, a make your own pasta bar, the carved roast, the salad bar, dessert bar and kid's meal bar.
My kids are now spoiled and think that Thanksgiving has to be Turkey, prime rib, stuffing and all the crab legs they can eat.
If you want a more traditional fare, Mama Dellas hosts a wonderful sit down, family style Thanksgiving meal.
You will need to make reservations. Just call the Portofino directly around October and make your reservations.
