Hi we are going to disney world orlando in late november 2013.
I was wondering where would be the best place to dine with the disney character? I have two daughters one is 5 and the other is 14 months old.

as i have never been to disney world with my children before this would be a new experience, if you have any tips as in where to go and dinning out and with the disney character.

We are staying in old key west on disney.
Many thanks in advance to you post something on this post.

If you are looking for the traditional Disney characters, Chef Mickeys at the Contemporary is your best bet. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto all come to your table. It is a buffet and the food is pretty good.

I soooo agree with this one as well, this is a must do on every DW trip we do. Since you have a 5 year old daughter, the other one I would throw out there would be Akershus. This a great place to eat and has most of the Princess's there. (and not as hard to get a ressie or as expensive as going to the castle to see them)

Have a great trip.

I would suggest Garden Grill at Epcot for dinner (characters that appear: Mickey, Pluto & Chip & Dale). All you care to eat served to you at your table. The restaurant also slowly revolves around the scenes in the Living with the Land so plenty to look at while you eat!

For breakfast I would suggest Tusker House at AK. Characters appearing are Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto and Mickey. We think the food is the best breakfast in WDW. Also periodically the characters dance around the room and all the children are invited to join in.

We love crystal palace at the MK. Characters from Winnie the Pooh walk around and play with the diners and the food is very good :-)

Depends on the type of characters you want.
We have done them all at least once. Most are very fast paced and poor food IMO. They have so many tables to get around they are there and gone in no time at all.
For time with characters I would say Garden Grill, its by far the smallest restaurant, last time they came around 3 times we sat there that long. No rush at all, plus I love the food there although others don't.

Foodwise I would probably go for Akershus, you have the cold meat & seafood buffet plus hot entree brought to your table.

Do your research on menus & characters, pick which you think you will enjoy most.

As you are travelling in November you may be limited at this stage by what reservations you can get.

We like breakfast at Ohana which has Mickey, Pluto, Lilo & Stitch. This is served family style and food has been consistently good. Characters last time where excellent too :thumbsup2

We like Tusker House at AK too which is a buffet with Mickey, Goofy & Daisy. Donald greets outside the restaurant but doesn't sign autographs.

Chef Mickey's is overpriced if not on a DP. Good choice of food but character's usually a bit rushed.

Crystal Palace has Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet & Tigger - good buffet if you like those characters.

Cape May Cafe - has Donald, Minnie & Goofy in swimming outfits. Small buffet with limited choices would only go back if we were staying at Yacht or Beach Club.

Cinderellas Royal Table - breakfast was excellent but very expensive. Good Princess interaction. Cinderella greets in the lobby and then 3 or 4 princess visit your table. Food is from a menu plus you get a pastry plate.

I would suggest Garden Grill at Epcot for dinner been there twice now exlent food and service you also get chip n dale pluto and mickey mouse
there at the table for a long time too
also we didnt get a photo right with mickey so asked the waitress if mickey could come back for another photo and we got them all again for about 5 mins

It really depends on the characters you want. As you've got a really little one, Hollywood & Vine with the Disney Junior characters might be good. Personally, I think Crystal Palace has the best balance of food quality and character interaction.

I would recommend Crystal Palace for breakfast - Winnie the Pooh and friends.

The best breakfast we found on property was Tuskers at AK - Mickey, Minnie and pals.

Garden Grill Epcot - also has great character interaction
