DS likes waking up with a trail of eggs leading from his bedroom to the living room. Then he finds them scattered around the house. His basket is usually on an end table in the living room. Where do you kids usually find their hidden eggs?

Each year, I hid eggs for my nieces and nephews at our family gathering. If it's nice out, I hid them outside, and put them in bushes, or underneath toys.

When we have to hide the eggs in the house, I usually hid them all around one room. I've been known to hid them in the shirt pockets of my brothers, in people's hands, and in obvious places like right on top of the TV. It always seems like it's the obvious places they can't find the eggs.

Easter baskets are outside their bedrooms... plastic eggs are either inside or outside , depending on the weather...we have been known to find them in shoes, the refridgerator and other very strange places...and some we don't find for a few months.

have to be more creative tonight - thanks for the ideas - keep em coming please

We always got a kick out of finding a few by the time the 4th of July was rolling around, we did hide some well. Enjoy. :)

Anywhere the dog and cat can't get to them...nothing like waking up @ three in the morning to the sound of a jelly bean filled egg rolling around because your cat thinks its a toy.

Baskets will be set outside the front door to EB can fill! I will fill plastic eggs after they go to bed and get up about 5:30 in the morning and hide them outside. I've always put them outside and the weather has cooperated. This year they are predicting scatter t-storms. So I guess, ultimately I'll have to check out the weather situation before I put them out.

We'll leave the eggs on the kitchen table tonight in a basket for the Easter Bunny. And, the kids will leave their empty baskets there as well in the hopes the bunny will fill them;) .

Bright and early tomorrow AM, the "bunny" will rise out of bed, get dressing and hide the eggs in the backyard. Knock on wood, 8 years we've been doing this and only had to endure the rain 1 time. The bunny also leaves a couple of present (okay more than a couple, I confess, my children get way too much!!). I love where the bunny hides the eggs, I have a hard time finding them too. DH is so creative some times. The only thing is our kids are early risers usually and DH sometimes groans when the alarm goes off.

The baskets get filled up and the one with the eggs is left empty on the table.

Our favorite time comes when the kids hide them and we get to find them. It's cute to see the world through their eyes.

We enjoy it!:D

And, Dan, we've been known to not find all of the eggs too. Now we count them as we're putting them in the basket to make sure we have the same count after the hunt.
