AKV is starting their refurb this fall, right? We are planning a May trip next year, and I'm hoping that will be our AKV stay (if we can get anything at 7months!)

In defense of my own (questionable technological) competence, let the record show that I did actually make both of the correct answers their own stand alone choices in the option set. @VGCgroupie really had me sweating there with the husband curve ball tidbit, but in the end, the DVC heart wants what it wants.

Congrats on making a consensus decision and thanks for bringing the rest of us along for the ride with you. I also suspect you’ll have no trouble making it into BCV sooner or later (we own 100 pts at BCV but have actually stayed there on our VGF points almost as often as we have on our home resort points) to check out SAB.

I think I voted for your original plan (BLT/BWV), not knowing the experience of visiting CCV. I guess I will keep CCV until I visit there. And, do you ever have plan to tour AKV?

I was surprised how much I liked CCV. I wanted to love AKV so badly because I am a die hard animal lover. It just wasn't for us. Hoping they knock the refurb out of the park and we will try again and try to make specific room requests and plan a resort only stay w/ grocery delivery.

If we stay at AKV, it's SV or nothing May is a popular month with owners, low points charts and the crowds are slightly lower before memorial day weekend. Not gonna do split stay since we will be spending a couple nights at Universal too. Looking at 4-5 nights at AKV.

HAHAHA not this time. If Lakeshore Lodge was on sale that would've been a very good possibility. So Im trying to refrain from taking that NLL offer even though I adore my MR points.

Same here, nothing like sitting on that balcony with a SV and a warm cup of Joffreys
