Where? Who? How? Photography? Help! Triplets take on the World!

Awww... I love the pic - they are just so adorable!!!

thank you!!! you know how much i like to show them off...

Our favorites in each park? YOu're kidding right? I Have to pick ONE?

No way! Pick your top 10! :teacher:

MK... It's really a toss up between LTT and CP... Love the food at LTT and love the atmosphere at CP

What is go great about LLT?? I'm thinking about CP....

Epcot... We have yet to have a real favorite - it used to be Garden Grill, but our last experience there wasn't as great as our previous, so we decided to try something different this time.

i would like to try something different. there is just SO MUCH to choose from! Overwhelming.

DHS... We used to love 50's - but again, after our last experience, we decided to try Sci-fi this time.

same i may stay with Sci-fi. I have heard several reports from people that it's a hit or miss! I don't want anything to be a miss while there...

AK... Well, there is really only one there... TH... we like breakfast - not so big on lunch.

OK then that is a done deal. I am afraid of the food other then breakfast.

As for everyone's bday - yes, I think the Dessert party would be fabulous... Considering I have yet to try it - but everyone raves about it for the view alone, so it must be pretty special?
Whatever you do - it must be BIG!!!!
D~

I totally agree but there is the pirate adventure and other stuff for them! :faint:

It does need to be the OVER THE TOP trip. must beat out their 6th birthday 2010 trip...
We did the IN-ROOM Birthday celebration if you don't know what that is click: HERE I still have all those decorates and use them OFTEN.
that is pretty hard to beat.
the MNSSHP is in there too...

I am thinking something totally different for THE birthdays Has everyone seen Fantasmic ? Do they enjoy it ? With TIW (tables in wonderland) there is a closed off area in the theater that can be reserved and a dessert party there
Way too far away to even inquire, just a thought

i didn't know they had that?!?! Yes we saw it in 2011. I thought you read that TR?! ;)
that was a whole crazy part of planning..

what about restaurants Ruthie??? what are your MUST do's?

First of all, the FP for Wishes reserves a good spot to watch the fireworks and/or the parade as well. Not sure where the supposed "good spots" are, but that's what I've read.

Now as far as places to eat, I'll give you a rundown of places we love.

MK: We enjoy Crystal Palace a lot. But once Be Our Guest opened, that became our new favorite. I guarantee your kids will all love that one! The nice thing is if you don't get an ADR for dinner, you can go during the day for lunch. Also a fantastic place for QS is Columbia Harbour House in Liberty Square.

HS: We almost always go to 50's Prime Time. We have also enjoyed Hollywood and Vine. The characters there are from Playhouse Disney. The food is typical buffet, but not bad.

Epcot: The food is really good at le Chefs de France and Rose and Crown. More fun for the kids might be the Garden Grill or the San Angel Inn. They also might enjoy Teppan Edo. For QS we like Sunshine Seasons in The Land and Kringla Bakeri in Norway.

AK: We got tired of THouse, so we usually eat at Boma's at the AK Resort. Our go to place for QS is Flametree BBQ, but the kids might enjoy Pizzafari.

You might also want to try Cape May Cafe (Beach Club), Grand Floridian Cafe, Whispering Canyon Cafe (Wilderness Lodge) or the Hoop Dee Doo Review or Mickey's Backyard BBQ. You can always go to all ears.net to check out the menus.

Love the pic of the kids!! Gawsh, they are so cute!

i didn't know they had that?!?! Yes we saw it in 2011. I thought you read that TR?! ;)
that was a whole crazy part of planning..

what about restaurants Ruthie??? what are your MUST do's?

Yes read the TR but forgot from what I've seen of the dessert thing they do at Fantasmic is looks pretty awesome

OK my MUST do over the years and recent not in any particular order, kind of thinking out loud

When Fred was home in May we did TH first timers but we had a late brkst ADR and by the time we got up for the second plate the lunch menu was out (did you not read that :lmao:) the food was awesome for lunch very varied I would do lunch there again in a heartbeat Brkfst standard fare anywhere

CP love it have ADR for Oct day of MNSSHP and really the only place to see Eeyoore anymore :sad2: LTT eh..we used to go for the characters thats gone so haven't been in years CRT- the BEST !! loved everything about it

EPCOT Garden Grill still the favorite the food, the privacy, the best character interactions IMHO if adults only I would say Rose & Crown or Biergarten, not sure the kiddos would care for either

DHS I don't think I ever had a meal there can you believe that ?? Oh wait, Brown Derby back in the 1980's not impressed then so never went back maybe things have changed ?

AK- Yak & Yeti counter service never did the restaurant... plan to heard all good

Resorts:

BC- Beaches & Cream may also be a good place for the BD celebration :thumbsup2

Cape May Cafe another place never a bad meal..going there for brkfst Oct
dinner is wonderful there too

AKL---can't say enough about BOMA and JIKO love them both for any meal (thanksgiving this year Boma)

Chef Mickey..I prefer the dinner..much better food there.. going Wed if all goes well

Brkfst it can get crazy not going to lie, I usually try to get the 1st ADR time slot OR the last food is always fresh most things at this buffet you will find anywhere, nothing jumps out as a must have

Its mostly about the character interaction and I found at the times I like to go there is more time with them

I'm sure there are others I will think of

BOG how the heck could I forget that one !!! Had lunch there about 6 times ?? I would eat there everyday if I could DINNER ah the impossible but NOT impossible ADR you know I snagged one for about 9"30 pm on Christmas night I will never give that one up ! Cannot wait

First of all, the FP for Wishes reserves a good spot to watch the fireworks and/or the parade as well. Not sure where the supposed "good spots" are, but that's what I've read.

I did NOT know they gave out fastpass for this!!!! I would had grabbed them in the past!!! Where do you obtain the fastpass?!?! Why haven't i ever heard of this!!!
Thank you for this!!!

OHHH BOG is going to be the TOP ADR i get. After I compile the list of the Favorites of TS i am going to get the QS. :thumbsup2

I do need a princessy thing for my peanut!

HS: We almost always go to 50's Prime Time. We have also enjoyed Hollywood and Vine. The characters there are from Playhouse Disney. The food is typical buffet, but not bad.

i don't think they will be too happy with playhouse Disney. I had to force them to see poor Jake the Pirate there was NO ONE in line for him and begging people to come over. So like any good Mother I made them go and say hi. :cool2: They did and played with the characters for a while.. a long while.. there really wasn't anyone around that night.

I was thinking Teppan Edo.. QS for us there is whatever is the closest! :rotfl2: i try to make it near Germany. Carmel for a meal is NOT a bad thing... there goes that fabulous parenting of mine..

AK: We got tired of THouse, so we usually eat at Boma's at the AK Resort. Our go to place for QS is Flametree BBQ, but the kids might enjoy Pizzafari.

Ya know i didn't even think of this! to see the resort could be really cool too!! i just added that to my list!
See this is why i come here!!!

You might also want to try Cape May Cafe (Beach Club), Grand Floridian Cafe, Whispering Canyon Cafe (Wilderness Lodge) or the Hoop Dee Doo Review or Mickey's Backyard BBQ. You can always go to all ears.net to check out the menus.

i live on all ears.. that may be my favorite site for information..
Have you done the Mickey's Backyard BBQ? Review please!

Love the pic of the kids!! Gawsh, they are so cute!

Thank you so much!

Yes read the TR but forgot from what I've seen of the dessert thing they do at Fantasmic is looks pretty awesome

I am going to have to look this up too.. Never heard of it!!!

Here is the link to remind you of our Fantasmic craziness.: POST 24

OK my MUST do over the years and recent not in any particular order, kind of thinking out loud

I like that kind of thinking.. It make way more sense...

When Fred was home in May we did TH first timers but we had a late brkst ADR and by the time we got up for the second plate the lunch menu was out (did you not read that :lmao:) the food was awesome for lunch very varied I would do lunch there again in a heartbeat Brkfst standard fare anywhere

I remember reading this.
But i am kinda open for Boma?!?!

CP love it have ADR for Oct day of MNSSHP and really the only place to see Eeyoore anymore :sad2: LTT eh..we used to go for the characters thats gone so haven't been in years CRT- the BEST !! loved everything about it

Really So the princess thing we should absolutely do is Cindy's Royal palooza?
never did it. so this could be on the list!

EPCOT Garden Grill still the favorite the food, the privacy, the best character interactions IMHO if adults only I would say Rose & Crown or Biergarten, not sure the kiddos would care for either

The kids might get a kick out of the Biergarten??? I know i would!

DHS I don't think I ever had a meal there can you believe that ?? Oh wait, Brown Derby back in the 1980's not impressed then so never went back maybe things have changed ?

think i am sticking with Sci fi.

AK- Yak & Yeti counter service never did the restaurant... plan to heard all good

Resorts:

BRING ON the resorts

BC- Beaches & Cream may also be a good place for the BD celebration :thumbsup2

this is where the "Kitchen Sink" is correct? Is this a QS or TS?

Cape May Cafe another place never a bad meal..going there for brkfst Oct
dinner is wonderful there too

have to look into it.

AKL---can't say enough about BOMA and JIKO love them both for any meal (thanksgiving this year Boma)

this might be the winner

Chef Mickey..I prefer the dinner..much better food there.. going Wed if all goes well

IT WILL!

Brkfst it can get crazy not going to lie, I usually try to get the 1st ADR time slot OR the last food is always fresh most things at this buffet you will find anywhere, nothing jumps out as a must have

do you remembering them having Lunch in 2010? That was our first time and fell in LOVE!!! they had ribs that were awesome! never forget that..
I do really like Chef Mickey's

Its mostly about the character interaction and I found at the times I like to go there is more time with them

Exactly!
This is where i get torn. Do we do most Character meals rather then Non?!?!
I have to make a break down.. Looks like i MIGHT go for the delux dining plan and PRAY free dining comes out next year.

I'm sure there are others I will think of

get on it.

BOG how the heck could I forget that one !!! Had lunch there about 6 times ?? I would eat there everyday if I could DINNER ah the impossible but NOT impossible ADR you know I snagged one for about 9"30 pm on Christmas night I will never give that one up ! Cannot wait

This is BIG ONE i really really want. ohhh Christmas Night!!! that is going to be so beautiful!!!!

Mo, I love the picture with Goofy...my favorite thus far.

Our favorite restaurants (now, don't forget...we no longer have kids traveling with us, although they ate at some of them)

MK:

Counter Service -- Columbia Harbor House or Cosmic Rays (not a fan of Pecos Bills at all)

Sit Down -- Be Our Guest and Plaza AND Crystal Palace--breakfast only at CP

Epcot:

Counter Service -- Sunshine Seasons for breakfast or any counter service in the countries (except for Morrocco and Mexico)

Sit Down -- Rose & Crown, Chefs de France

Studios:

Counter Service -- Starring Rolls

Sit Down -- Sci Fi or Mama Melrose (we were very disappointed in our meal at 50's Prime Time last September and won't be going back)

Animal Kingdom:

Counter Service -- Flame Tree Barbecue

Sit Down -- Tusker House for breakfast, Yak & Yeti for dinner

Resorts:

Polynesian -- Kona for breakfast

Beach Club -- Cape May for breakfast (although Crystal Palace and Tusker House are ten times better in our opinion)

Yacht Club -- Yachtsman Steakhouse (very expensive though)

Mickeys Backyard BBQ :cool1::cool1::cool1: forgot all about it until you mentioned it OK not going to have a chance to sort through the computer and find the pictures at all this week but they will love it ! and the beer for adults how can you go wrong ? Hoop-De-Doo I would never recommend again all a matter of opinion and this one is mine :sad2:

IF I were going and I have the DDP I would cram in there every possible character meal I could but I would also get the kids into one of those night time clubs and you and Tom get a TS for a very expensive and intimate dinner adult only time....just my thoughts ;)

and I answered this somewhere earlier your thread maybe mine but I LOVE the idea of the split stay Poly & AOA best of both worlds

I just got a reminder email of the Chef Mickey dinner ADR for Wed night Is this typical or have I just cancelled so many ADRs lately that this is the "slap on the wrist and threat to charge the CC ?" OK Mickey sorrrrryyyyyyy :lmao: I won't even think about cancelling it now :rotfl2:

Normal, Ruthie. I get an email confirmation the day before each ADR.

I get the emails too...

No one mentioned Ohana?!?!?

the Top 5 I think this trip is going to be TS:
1 BOG
2. Boma
3. CRT
4. Sci-fi
5. Teppan Edo

How does that fair???

How does that fair???

I've not mentioned Ohana because we've never been (won't go for breakfast because I detest Stitch; we are trying dinner next month...when I'll meet Suzi before dinner :)). As for the above: 1) BOG -- LOVE LOVE LOVE; 2) Boma -- we've only done breakfast and it is one of the best; 3) we've never done CRT because my boys would NOT be caught dead eating in a castle with princesses at the time); 4) Sci Fi -- an almost yearly must do for us and 5) Teppan Edo -- we enjoyed it, but we have better when we go to Marco Island and eat with Nicki and Todd in Naples

O'Hana eh forgettable to me

Yeah...well...you're a cheater. That was an expired thread. They started a new Poly thread back the first of June. I unsubscribed to that old one! So there :p

thank you!!! you know how much i like to show them off...

No way! Pick your top 10! :teacher:

What is go great about LLT?? I'm thinking about CP....

I love LTT, because they have that Ahhhh-mazing Freedom Pasta... It's so wonderful to eat there after a week of park food.... For some reason it doesn't seem as rushed and crowded there... However -we always try to get the earliest available lunch seating there is, so we can get in and out and on our way.

CP is always a must do for us - as an early morning breakfast ADR... We have NEVER had a bad experience there.

i would like to try something different. there is just SO MUCH to choose from! Overwhelming.

same i may stay with Sci-fi. I have heard several reports from people that it's a hit or miss! I don't want anything to be a miss while there...

I dont know how to make it an OTT trip - I think every trip is OTT. LOL

However - someday - I really want to try out HDDR... Sigh... Someday...

D~

I DID NOT know about the new one!!!! dang it i have to find that one..

Kathy have you been to Fogo De chou? Or brazzaz?

DO NOT COMPARE them to Ohana.. umm so NO Tonga Toast for you?!?! that is a TOTAL must to do.. we didn't do it on our last trip and i was itching for it!

just like i want to try the Poly dinner show they have.. BUT if i have to choose i would rather to CRT for the extra $$ it will be the only meal we do for Peanut and the princess.

I really want to start getting things together Like what i am buying, making, and surprising with them...

They REALLY want camera's yet their birthday and Christmas is still coming. so i might have my parents do that one?!?:confused3

Need to get an IDEA of how to surprise them

I need to find out if i got the job!!!!! That is first on the list.

Yes, we've done Fogo de Chou and Brazzaz, and I know not to compare.

Tonga Toast is served at Kona's, but I hate bananas...so I'm safe. :)

Mo, I love the picture with Goofy...my favorite thus far.

Thank you! I have thousands of pictures!

Our favorite restaurants (now, don't forget...we no longer have kids traveling with us, although they ate at some of them)

When you did go with the kids what were your favorites?

MK:

Counter Service -- Columbia Harbor House or Cosmic Rays (not a fan of Pecos Bills at all)

Sit Down -- Be Our Guest and Plaza AND Crystal Palace--breakfast only at CP

Yeah we do Cosmic Rays for the chicken we all share.. ;)

You have me SO excited for BOG...

Epcot:

Counter Service -- Sunshine Seasons for breakfast or any counter service in the countries (except for Morrocco and Mexico)

Sit Down -- Rose & Crown, Chefs de France

we would do Breakfast at the resort. especially if it is Poly for that dang TOAST!!! YUM YUM YUM!

Studios:

Counter Service -- Starring Rolls

Sit Down -- Sci Fi or Mama Melrose (we were very disappointed in our meal at 50's Prime Time last September and won't be going back)

I read that in one of your reports on the 50's which is why i am turned off i read more bad on it then good. I really enjoyed the pasta i ordered from Scifi which i will order again!

Of course Starring Rolls is in the mix!

Animal Kingdom:

Counter Service -- Flame Tree Barbecue

Sit Down -- Tusker House for breakfast, Yak & Yeti for dinner

Ok same here. I don't think we will be here all day. AK is not an all day park for us.
No Boma for you?

Resorts:

Polynesian -- Kona for breakfast
:thumbsup2

Beach Club -- Cape May for breakfast (although Crystal Palace and Tusker House are ten times better in our opinion)

good to know.

Yacht Club -- Yachtsman Steakhouse (very expensive though)

and i won't be going.. not going to pay the prices when we have just as good steak houses here.

Mickeys Backyard BBQ :cool1::cool1::cool1: forgot all about it until you mentioned it OK not going to have a chance to sort through the computer and find the pictures at all this week but they will love it ! and the beer for adults how can you go wrong ? Hoop-De-Doo I would never recommend again all a matter of opinion and this one is mine :sad2:

not a hoop tyoe of person.. I do think the BBQ would be fun?

IF I were going and I have the DDP I would cram in there every possible character meal I could but I would also get the kids into one of those night time clubs and you and Tom get a TS for a very expensive and intimate dinner adult only time....just my thoughts ;)

Yes this is exactly how i feel.. But i DO want to try different places. so if I split them?! some character and some not so much?

and I answered this somewhere earlier your thread maybe mine but I LOVE the idea of the split stay Poly & AOA best of both worlds

Yes i think this is a good idea... Plus i can walk over and get that cheesecake i have been wanting!!!

I would have to do AOA first. I know i won't want to leave the Poly for anything.

So start out at AOA for whatever time. then pop on over to the great and wonderful POLY!!!! :cheer2: TONGA TOAST!!!!

Do they have Tonga Toast for stitch's breakfast?!?!

I think your kids would like HDDR. Fun and hokey comedy perfect for the kids (and parents). We had lots of fun there on our last trip but it is two TS credits so we are not doing it again anytime soon.

My kids like Crystal Palace, we have done lunch and are doing dinner this trip. We have also enjoyed Kona Cafe, Chef Mickey (of course), Coral Reef, Akersus (for a late breakfast) and my DD is looking forward to going back to Tony's Town Square.
