Drove with my dog from Atlanta to Pittsburgh to St Louis with a stop in Indianapolis because a piece of metal on i70 took out my passenger tires and then back to Atlanta.

Just 425 miles each way to my hometown, but we did it twice a month for several years. I actually got to know a few people at truck stops, drive throughs, etc. at the half way point because they would recognize having seen our dog before!
