Help. We have reservations at 7 at Teppan Edo followed by Illuminations...where can my hubby go locally (while me and the kids watch the fireworks)?? Anywhere in Epcot?? Thanks!

Agree that ESPN is a good bet, and close to Epcot. Also close: bar at the Yacht Club and Beach Club. Of course this means that he will be outside Epcot through International gateway after the park closes, and you’ll need to meet him there and find a way back to your resort/hotel.

I don’t think there’s anywhere inside Epcot that would have NFL game.

Disney definitely does not want people watching TV in the parks. ESPN is your best bet.

Agree with PPs. ESPN Club is a quick and easy walk from Epcot. It's also the best and most fun place to watch a football game on property!

True, however with a 7PM reservation at Teppan Edo he will be lucky to get into the ESPN club for the game. Many people will be be showing up about that time to get a seat/table for the game.

In my own experience, the one Sunday night game isn't as big of a draw as the 1pm games when most teams are on. I agree it will still be busy, but if he's by himself, I'd think he could find a spot at the bar. A lot of people will have cleared out from the 4pm games. It will also be dependent on who's playing - some regions have a bigger presence that come to watch their teams than others.

Is this the Eagles/Cowboys (Eagles fan here!) game on November 11?

I was planning on watching the game at ESPN club but we are leaving that day instead and actually flying DURING the game.

ESPN on the boardwalk will likely be the most popular spot in general, and most convenient for the location you guys will be. Cool looking atmosphere but the food is subpar. I'd prefer to go to DS to the Rainforest Cafe.. They'll have the game on at the bar.

Or Uber to either Hooters, Twin Peaks, or Hurricanes which are all within 5 min of DS

Or, if he doesn't want to leave Epcot, he could use a smartphone with a high speed unlimited data plan. He can stream the game on various apps with the proper TV service subscription.

(Disney wifi is available; I don't think the bandwidth and signal strength are intended for heavy video streaming.)

Honestly this would be my first pick. If you guys have Verizon he can watch the games easily on the NFL app if the Cowboys game is the local game showing.

And there's a few sites where you can stream the games for free

This is what I did, streamed off of reddit.

Anyone know if they still offer the VIP experience at ESPN?

I can't confirm, but I know at the time when I did it a few years back, it was only offered for the 1pm games on Sunday. Hopefully someone else can come along to confirm if its still offered and if that has changed. Otherwise, ESPN Club is one of the few places you can call directly to get an answer and make a reservation, if applicable.

When we were there a few weeks ago, we had dinner at the Big River Brewery on the Boardwalk, there were sports on all the TVs and our server even changed the station of the TV closest to our table to the Red Sox game for our husbands :)
