Where to use Disney Giftcard?

We will be at Disney in October and I have several Disney Giftcards that I want to use mainly for food and souveniers. Can Disney gift cards be used at Downtown Disney? If so, which restaurants will accept the cards? We have only eaten once at Downtown Disney and it was at Planet Hollywood.

I think they can only be used at Disney owned stores and restaurants. So, in DTD you could use them to purchase items at the World of Disney store. But Planet Hollywood while in DTD they are not owned by Disney. I plan on using our gift cards in the theme parks for kids gift items.

Some CS may acceot them too - anyplace where a credit card can be used, so some carts like popcorn and ice cream may not accept them.
If there is a DDP sign on the cart, then they have that credit card type machine then they will accept the Disney Goft card.

We used our Disney gift cards to pay for our food and tickets in the parks. Also, the Lego store accepted Disney gift card payment. Not sure about any others places, we already spent them all

eta: I think Lego was the Disney Visa Rewards money, not a Disney gift card. Sorry for the misinformation.

We used Disney Rewards dollars at the lego store. We have used a Disney gift card at some of the kiosks and CS places downtown. I think Earl of Sandwich and Ghiradelli's took the gift card.
