We are getting married in may 08 and we're wondering where to stay. we want to stay in a moderate or deluxe resort for the day b4 the wedding and the wedding night but we really want to stay in all star movies with the rest of the family for the rest of the holiday. The cost is'nt the issue, we love all star movies and as there is going to be alot of children with us, it seems like the best place to stay. The only reason we want to stay somewhere different for the wedding day and night is because I cant see myself walking out in my dress into the all star movies! :lmao: I know this is an odd request but has anyone else ever done something like this? And what would be the best deluxe or moderate resort to stay in for our wedding night and night b4? Also is there a minimum number of nights we would have to stay in the mod or deluxe resort for? :bride:

If money's not an issue, do a deluxe for those two nights. If you're doing a custom wedding, you get the wedding night free anyway, so do the same room the night before to minimze moving around, but I don't see any reason why that'd be weird. There's no minimum on how many nights you stay in a particular resort - you could change every night if you wanted to.

I'd say pick the deluxe closest to your ceremony to make it easy to get ready.

Stay at the Boardwalk Pat , then we will be there at the same time!!!
I'm a little biased though, because the Boardwalk is our home resort.

We did something similar. We stayed at the POFQ for the length of our stay because it was a huge savings. Yes, we could have justified the added expense of a Deluxe but we love the POFQ anyway. But we did also reserve a GF room for the wedding night. We were married at the WP and it was handy to be able to go back to the room to go to the washroom and we didn't require the added transportation back from the GF to the POFQ.

Then we just sent our overnight bags (and my dress) back to the POFQ through baggage. It was super easy.
