Where to stay other then the Fort?

I know....why would I stay anywhere else???? We are visiting our daughter who is stationed in Jacksonville (Navy). This year, we would like to hit the world too. I just don't think we can afford the Fort (cabins or rental) this year. Since we are also taking our parents (72 and 74), I would like to stay at a resort that is "peaceful". (and a 7 year old)

Soooooo Where would you stay?

The Fort is very peaceful! Relaxing too!

Keep in mind that more people can stay in a cabin than in a single "resort" room. So a cabin might not be more expensive than two rooms elsewhere, and you would have the ambiance of the Fort with a place to unwind as you desire and have quiet whenever you need it. And you would be right in the middle of as much action as you wanted to indulge in.

If your daughter is going to be staying for part of the time she can make reservations at Shades of Green for you. It is beautiful and very reasonable. Shades of Green is across the street from the Polynesian.
