Where to stay on the way there

We are driving from South Mississippi next June. We will be going on I-10 to I-75 (I think). I am looking for a place to stay somewhere around Tallahassee that is not that expensive but is clean and safe. I have looked at some Comfort Inns on the internet but wanted some recommendations from people who have stayed there or other places. Thanks for your help.

Here are a few suggestions:

Microtel Inn & Fairfield Inn- I10, N Monroe exit

Hilton Garden Inn, Courtyard, Cabot Lodge - I10, Thomasville Rd exit.

Dont know when you are going. But if Oct or Nov make sure to call and make a reservation. FSU & FAMU football fans tend to book many of the rooms on those weekends.

On our trip earlier this year we stayed at the LaQuinta Inn just off I-10 as you are entering Tallahassee at the Monroe exit. It was very clean and had an excellant free continental breakfast in the morning. Here's the address
