Where to stay in Syracuse?

Our flight leave SYR at 5:20am We are hoping to stay near the airport. Any hotel suggestions? Also how early do you think I should be at the airport. Us Airways counter opens at 4am. We always fly out of there but never left that early

One more question... I'm full of questions today... I know we can check in up to 24 hours prior to departure, how does it work with suitcases? I've never done that before and would love to know ahead of time as I will be travelling with my triplets and I'm hoping to not be running around like a chicken with no head that morning.

The last time we flew out of Syracuse we stayed at the Comfort Inn and Suites - they offer a park and fly package that is very reasonable, with good shuttle service to and from the airport and breakfast in the morning. They also have an indoor pool that our kids used the night before we left. I`m not sure about your question regarding early check-in time at the airport - you might want to call the airline directly to ask.

What we have done when picking a hotel that is new to us is to use a site such as the one I gave above, pick a couple of hotels that fit our needs, then go to Tripadvisor to check them out. Have avoided a few hotels that looked good on the initial site, but had horrible reviews on TA. Have also found a few hidden gems this way. Good luck
