Where to stay for Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party?

Hi everyone!

My mom and I just booked a trip to wdw dec 16-20. We are staying at okw for three of the nights.. we are looking for somewhere in the park to stay on the first night. Does anyone know of any special rates or any suggestions?

Discount codes probably won't be out for Dec. until mid to late Aug. if I had to guess. Keep your eyes on www.mousesavers.com and of course here on the boards.

I assume you booked OKW via CRO? OKW is on WDW property. Are you looking to get even closer to a park? If so, resorts that are closest to the parks would be CR,Poly or GF (all on the monorail line near MK) or WL...close to MK by boat. OR Y & B clubs, BW,Swan & Dolphin are all walkable or boat to Epcot and MGM. And SSR and OKW are walkable or boat to DTD.

As of the moment your least expensive option would be the values or moderates Or rent points from a DVC member...though for Dec. your chances at this point for a points rental for that time are getting slimmer and slimmer

How about a Wing room at the CR? You can often get a really good deal, and you would be able to WALK back to your hotel after the party! No lines for buses or monerails!

A wing room at the CR is a room on the outer wings rather than the tower rooms.
