Where To Stay for Honeymoon Offsite?

I have friends who want to spend a week in Souther Cal. They'd like to stay close to Disneyland and have 3 days there, then do Universal and some other attractions. They plan to rent a car. They want a nice room. Any suggestions?

For our honeymoon we stayed at the Ayres Hotel. It was awesome. We just got in the car drove 5 min to Toy story parking lot and it was a nice hotel with nice rooms

The Sheraton Park has some gorgeous fireworks views and a conceirge level if they want to splurge a little more but the standard rooms are very nice and if it's just the two of them they can book a king room.
