We will get to Orlando on a Saturday and get up early to be at WDW for our first day on Sunday. We will be staying onsite during our trip, except on the first night (Sat.). I need some suggestions on places to stay. If we can get PS for Cindy's we won't need breakfast, but otherwise I thought somewhere w/a breakfast included would be a good idea. I don't want to spend alot on the room, but would like it to be clean and safe! TIA!

Depending on the number in your party, I'd try priceline. Be sure to check out www.biddingfortravel.com and become educated though. That board is a great resource. We arrive at 11pm in a couple weeks and ended with the Renaissance Worldgate for $45 (incl tax) . No breakfast, but I mapped it to be 2.7 miles via a backroad to CSR where we'll check in at 8AM the next morning. Then the last night we're at the Marriot Airport for $42 night/also though priceline.

I'm bumping for more input. We did get Cindy's breakfast for Sunday morning. So that means we will be switching rooms, as well as trying to make it PS on time. Need help on the best way to do this and where to stay that first night.

I am using the Dreams Unlimited rooms that are advertised on this site. I am at the HOJO but the Courtyard had a good rate also. The rates are good and I like the fact that I am helping these boards stay in business!

You may have already thought of this; pack a separate bag for that first night only. That way, it's less to pick up in the morning and you'll be able to leave the rest of the luggage in the car.

Not sure when you are going but have you tried the allstars? You can often get great rates and they will also move your luggage to the new onsite hotel.

We always use Priceline for the first night and have been very happy with it. One year we got the Sheraton Safari for $30, (3 star)....We got one night at the Hilton in the WDW Resort for $55, (4 star/resort), on April 26th this year.

We are staying at the Hampton Inn by the airport. There is a complimentary shuttle from the airport to the hotel. Since we will not be renting a car the shuttle comes in handy. The next morning we will just head back to the airport and take the Mears shuttle to AS Sports. It's $45 per night and includes breakfast. I made my reservation online. It couldn't have been easier. Have a great trip!

We get in really late on a Saturday too. We are staying at the HOJo's using this site to make the ressies. Its 56.00 total. I'm packing a separate bag with just essentials and a change of clothes and requesting express checkout. The kids eat free here, but I'm not using that, mine won't sit still for breakfast knowing we can get to see Mickey if we hurry and leave!!!:D

we found the hojo maingate east , no free breakfast, for $29.95 on an internet reservation. i researched it for about a month. got a few bad reviews but most said it was basic, clean safe place 10-15 min from WDW. not much on extras but we are doing same as you. driving down on sun, will arrive about 6pm. will check in, shop at Downtown Disney, then sleep shower and off to WL!! $30 is great deal. check back a couple of pages on orlando attractions on hotel forum page and see some reviews and info on it. get rate at valuetrips.com.
good luck,
mikewdw
