Where to stay at SSR for my family?

Chase- 11 year old
Zach 6 year old

Both of the boys loved the slide at the OKW pool. We will be staying at SSR next February, and I am interested in which location to ask for for my family.

I've heard "the springs" location probably would be the best.

I'm looking for ease of getting around, access to the resort resteraunt.. access to the best pool with slide, bus transportation, etc.

Suggestions???

Grandstand is another option. It's not far from Springs' distances to the main pool and has another feature pool as well (no slide there though).

From the looks of that map, it seems if you want the closest area to walk to DTD you should request Congress Park. Is that correct?

Yes that's right. CP is our favorite area, short walk(for us) to the main pool. The quiet pool at CP is huge. It's about a 10 min. walk to DTD. We have an 11 and soon to be 7yr old sons.

Is congress park the only area with a view of DTD? I would really like a view of DTD but I am a little afraid of the walk from CP to the bus.
