In your opinion, where is the best standard view room at the Beach Club? I have a standard view booked for the first week of December and was curious about others good/bad opinions of their standard view rooms.

TIA

I don't know what the best view would be but we were on the second floor overlooking a courtyard area facing the Villa's. It was pretty nice.

I can tell you what you don't want. BC has several rooms that overlook a large roof. Make sure you specify you don't want that view. Also, request a full balcony.

We spent our first night overlooking the roof but they found us a new room for the rest of our trip and were very accomodating.

This map may help you decide. It's a little outdated (it refers to BC maybe bringing back concierge, which they've done), but it gives you the general idea.

We started out on room 5674 and asked to move. That room was near a service elevator & hearing the elavator going up & down all night kept me up.

Thank you for the responses.

Which floors of BC are concierge...fourth or fifth or both?

TIA

Just returned 11/9. Fabulous! We had a king room RM 4571. It had a very comfy king bed, a full sized balcony, and a wet bar. Also had a refrdige. Our view was courtyard, but we were right at the end, so all you had to do was look to your left and there was the lagoon and the boardwalk. Lovely!
We also had a large glass bowl with plastic fruit in it. Or so I thought. DH started to bite into an apple, and I said " Honey that's plastic, it's just for decoration". He looked at me funny and took a bite anyway! Of course it was real! I just didn't expect fresh fruit in our room.
DH still likes AKL better because of the themeing, but walking to Epcot, our favorite park was so easy! And after the Party for the Senses during F&W Festival, it was nice to just be able to walk back to the room instead of climbing on a bus!
Loved this resort!

We just came back from our BC/Magic stay and we made reservations last year for a standard room through AAA. When we arrived we got a jr. suite room 2557. We stayed at the BC before and I will tell you this had to be the best room I have seen. Very large with 2 Queen size beds, a day bed, double sink, and a full size balcony over looking quiet cove pool.
