Where to stay after Cruise in Copenhagen?

We have booked the Tivoli hotel which is where the adventures by Disney travelers stay so I figured they have scoped out a great place since anyone I’ve ever talked to has loved their adventures by Disney trips. https://www.tivolihotel.com/
This is the DCL Pre/Post night hotel also. Its an easy ride on the train from the Airport and right next to the river.

I wouldn't hesitate to book the Tivoli hotel either.

If your 6am flight is leaving the EU Schengen area directly, be aware that CPH Airport recommend arriving 3 hours before the flight - 2 hours if within Europe.

Your current plan sounds like the least stressful and most convenient to me.
It would be quite easy to take the metro to Kongens Nytorv station or the train to Copenhagen Central (København H). Personally I would really like to wake up just a short walk from the airport at that time of the "day".

The public transportation system in Copenhagen is very easy to use (disclaimer: I'm a Copenhagener).
I would also recommend the City Pass. It includes trains, metro and bus.
If you buy it using the DOT app, just make sure you have enough power on your phone for the day.

And maybe bookmark https://www.rejseplanen.dk/webapp/?language=en_EN - the public transportation journey planner.

This is great info, thank you. IS the City Pass different than the Copenhagen Card? Since it will just be me and my 2 girls ages 6 and 10 the first few days pre cruise, I was thinking of getting the Copenhagen Card so we could visit attractions too. Unless the City Pass is better?

The City Passes are just all-day tickets for public transportation and doesn't include any attractions. They are available for either "just Copenhagen" or also including the Greater Copenhagen.

I recommend that you take a look at the list of attractions included to see if you're going to take advantage of it. There's also a savings calculator that'll help you get an overview: https://copenhagencard.com/page/attractions?lang=EN

Thank you for the resource--I'll look into it!
