I have to book 1 nite(before we go to BWV)and will be traveling with 2 17yo teen boys. I know they'd like to spend time at Disney Quest & DD. What is best resort for the one nite? I'd like them to be able to use Disney transportation so I won't have to "babysit" them all afternoon/evening. Would PO-Riverside fit the bill? Do you think Pop Century will be open for 2nd week of Feb?

POR or POFQ would be the closet to Downtown Disney. They have the boat transportation that goes back and forth between the resort and DD, so that would probably be the easiest.

I second the suggestion of luvdzny. POR or POFQ would be a great option with the boat transportation to DTD for DQ. I have never stayed at POR, but I have stayed at POFQ and loved it!

It may have changed, but when we stayed at POR last year, the boat drop off at DD was at the opposite end from DQ. It was MUCH easier to take the bus!

I have DSs 18 & 16, I would recommend getting a resort with the best rate for one night! I would avoid the AKL & All-stars because of the distance from DD. All others, they should be able to get a bus to DD & DQ without any problem. (Mine didn't find it any harder going from the BC, than from POR.)

The other option, if it fits your budget, is the Boardwalk. My teenage boys just LOVE it over there. Lots of activities in the evening, attracts other teens (read: girls) and the pools are awesome.
