Where to start on a Saturday afternoon/Early Entry arrival time

We fly in on Saturday around noon and are staying at PBR. I'm estimating actually getting to the parks in the late afternoon. I have 3 huge HP fans in tow who have saved up for their wands. US closes at 5pm and IOA closes at 6pm. Where would you go?

Also, for Early Entry how early would you arrive at the gate?

Arrive for EE 20-30 min before official opening. they may open a few min early.

Evening is a great time to do the Ollivander's wand show with little wait. You can continue to hang around and do spells after the official closing time.

Recent EE reports have the secondary gate inside the park open around 7:40 with Gringotts and Mummy operating BEFORE 8am. If that were to be the timing for my trip I would personally show up 10min before then, so 7:30.

Also not sure if it matters to you but just so you know the TM's have been letting EVERYONE (not just EE people) get in line for Minions around 8:20 - 8:30AM and the ride starts operating it 8:35 - 8:40AM. Also the TM's have also bee letting EVERYONE (not just EE people) get in line for Transformers a few min before official park opening (but after Minions).

All of this changes with no notice from Univ so hopefully its correct for your trip.

Hi we personally always start at DA when we go regardless of the day and time! We like to start where it began! Also the other thing to think about is the time you are going to get by the parks. If you are taking the boat from PBH you are going to get a little closer to the studios bridge than IOA. We find it quicker to get to DA then to Hogsmeade. If you have plenty of time when you arrive at the parks then it really doesn't matter which park.

For EE I agree with pp that at least 20 - 30 minutes is a good time to get there.
