Where to sit at Ohana for adults?

We have an ADR for O'hana during our trip in September! I can't waiting to try it. :yay: For a group of adults, where should we request to sit to be away from the "commotion?" We have a few older people in our party who might get a bit overwhelmed with all this.

Our reservation is around 5 when they open, so I assume we will be able to be sat where we request.

Thanks!

They have the kids marching all around the place so your only real option is to request a table away from the main aisles. Keep in mind that O'hana is always crowded so you may just have to take the table they have. The stuff for kids seem to happen about once an hour or so.
Good Luck

I think you might have to just try to have a good attitude about the commotion because you can't really get away from it...honestly, it doesn't go on and on throughout your whole meal, and it isn't that bad really.

As posters have said you can't really request where to sit. It is where ever they have room.
Since your adr is early I would recommend getting there 1/2 hour early and when you check in ask to be seated in a more quiet area if possible.
That is your best bet.

And I agree with the PP that said it is hard to get away from the noise of this place. It is everywhere!!! The loudest restaurant in WDW IMO.
We have sat in the "quiet" section, the middle of the room and against a window. And to be honest I can never hear the other people at my table, except for my DH who I sit next to. It is loud!!

We ate dinner there a couple years ago....we had our DS9 with us....he absolutely loved joining in on all the fun going on around the place. There were down times during the actual meal when the kids weren't dancing, marching, and hitting coconuts....very few non-commotion moments....but they did happen. ALSO, definitely agree with trying to NOT get an aisle seat. We saw the woman that was leading all the festivities actually stop and sing in people's faces to try to get them to join in. All-in-all though, it's a very upbeat restaurant with great views out the windows. No matter where you sit you will have a great time!

We had a delightfully "quiet" meal at 'Ohana last summer (well, I mean, as quiet as it's going to get at 'Ohana). We were seated in the smaller room to the far right of the restaurant. I'd imagine they will seat you there at opening if you request it. I would bet that most people who dine here would be disappointed if seated here, but we loved it (having kids who are now teens and are not interested in participating). We could hear the ukelele in the distance for ambience and background, and the parade came through the room occasionally for entertainment, but we could enjoy each other's company without excessive noise.

We were seated here during our 1st 'Ohana meal and we WERE disappointed! :rotfl2: It is a nice, quiet spot that your party of adults may really enjoy.

Agree, make the request, and hopefully thay can accomodate you! Great place to eat, hope it works out well for you and your group!
