Where to see Cinderella?

I can not get a ps for CRT (still trying) and the Norway meals do not have Cinderella, correct? There is the 1900 Park Fare meal with Cinderella, but how is that for young kids? I guess I'm wondering if you see Cinderella anywhere in the parks or only at character meals? My dd (2y10m) is nervous about most characters but talks all the time about seeing Cinderella so I've got to try to make this happen! :~)

Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks in advance

Another very simple way of catching Cinderella is to be at the entrance to Mickey's Toontown Fair when it opens at 10 a.m. and head straight back to the Toontown Hall of Fame. Cindy and a couple of her friends are almost always there first thing in the morning. In fact, last August we caught Cindy outside the Hall of Fame and got pics with her then. This last trip two weeks ago, we were a bit later but our DD4 still got her autograph and pics with her inside the Hall. In addition to Cinderella, we also got Sleeping Beauty and Snow White (though we had their pics/autographs since we had done PSB the day before). Good luck! :earsboy:

We went to the 1900 Park Fare dinner in 2003 and it was great! Our DS was 11 1/2, but we saw many younger....even down to the toddler age...there and they seemed to be having a great time. You will find Fairy Godmother in the lobby, where she stayed during our visit, Cinderella, Prince Charming, the 2 cute mice, Suzy and Perla, are inside and rotate among the diners. We stayed for about 1 - 1 1/2 hours and each stopped at our table at least twice. Of all the character dining we have done we thought this was one of the most pleasant...characters seemed to stay longer and actually visit. I was on a quest to get Cinderella story books signed for my two great-nieces and when the characters found out, they were overly kind about signing them...Fairy Godmother even put a kiss in the older one's book.

As for food, it was quite good. IMO it was a bit more "adult" than Chef Mickey's for example...seafood, pasta bar, prime rib, and chilled strawberry soup that was heavenly...ate it for the soup course and dessert. They did have the usual children's fare...nuggets, pb&j, mac and cheese, etc. so the little ones had plenty to choose from...remember they can eat off of both the children's and the adult's buffet.

I recommend a PS here if seeing Cindy is a must on your list and you cannot get the PS at CRT. Check out allearsnet for the menu.

thanks for the replies...I assume the PSB is the Princess lunch/dinner in Norway? I do have a ps for lunch there one day but the food just isn't our speed at all!!!! So I really hate to go there on the "chance" of seeing Cinderella.

Thanks again!

Yes PSB is the Princess StoryBook Meal in Norway - sorry about using the abbreviations - I've heard wonderful things about the Cinderella Dinner at Park Faire. Keep trying for CRT - esp 48 hours out when people will need to cancel if they can't go. I've also heard wonderful reports of seeing Cindy at Toon Town - you can check with guestservices at each park to see if she is out and where she will be. Enjoy your trip!

My DD(3 at the time) met Cinderella in 7/2003 at 1900 Park Fare. She was thrilled. We had an early seating, before 5:00. She met Cinderella, the Prince, the Fairy Godmother, and the 2 mice. We are scheduled again next month.

We also met Cinderella at the castle. We had a reservation for lunch which was not a character meal at the time. While we were waiting to be seated, Cinderella was announced. My daughter ran to her. Cinderella walked her to her throne. I can't tell you how happy my daughter was. The only other people waiting for lunch was a rather large grp of adults. Only 2 or 3 kids. Cinderella spent quality time with each child.

Definitely go to the character tent in toontown. They have a room set up for meeting with the princesses. We went through that line over and over again last year. (with only one child to please, this is possible) We met Cinderella and the mice, Minnie, Chip & Dale, Pluto, Pooh, Piglet, Eyeore, Tigger. You can check with a CM to see who is in the room so that you don't wait in line when you don't have to. If that doesn't work, hang out by the exit and ask the people who are leaving.

I really don't think that you should have any problem meeting with Cinderella. Good Luck.

We have been to 1900 Park Faire twice. We went in Feb. '04 and the girls were almost 3 yrs and 7 mos. This year in March it was on my oldest dd's fourth birthday and the youngest was almost 20 mos. It was wonderful and we really enjoy the interaction of the characters. It is really low key and they can watch Cinderella from afar as she visits everyone else, so they can see what is happening and not be afraid. Prince Charming is nice as are Pearla and Suzie. The Fairy Godmother is pretty good too. We enjoy the buffet (albeit an expensive meal ... but worth every penny to see the expression on the girls' faces). And it was totally priceless to hear my little one yelling "R-E-L-L-A" (think of Elaine in Seinfeld saying STELLA) ... my little one even has that throaty sound down! It is just too cute!

Have fun wherever you see her ... it SO magical at that age!!

Kerri :sunny:

We were at WDW last Saturday (4/23) and had lunch at Cinderella's Castle w/o a ressie. We showed up at around 1:10...was told to come back at 1:30 (they said someone always cancels)...we did, and put our name in...waited 20 mins or so inside and Cinderella was there on her throne! Got seated and had a great lunch!

FYI...did the same thing a few days earlier at Mythos @ Universal!
