We eventually want to buy one, but for now would love to rent one to use at the campground. We live in SC and will be heading to Disney in July. Anyone know of where to rent a travel trailer, either here in SC or on our way to Disney? We found places that rent out regular RVs, but not travel trailers. Thanks in advance!

Rog will be along shortly with your answer.

One place is http://campatthefort.com/
It is a fifth wheel for rent.

Another option, a Diser is putting things together to rent out his pop-up and also deliver, set up and break down at The Fort. His username is stacktester you can PM him.

Thanks Disers! If you know of any where else to rent one, please let me know!

Where are you is SC? I think there are a couple of places in Charleston that rent trailers.

If you're going to rent...make it easy on yourself...why bother towing it, using the extra gas to haul such a heavy load, plus the added stress and headache of being on the road with one....as 2goofycampers said previously....www.CampAtTheFort.com delivers the trailer to your site, sets it up and shows you how everything works...then they take it away when the vacation is over....this way, you can get the feel to decide if purchasing a camper of your own is something you ever want to do. Its the perfect answer to trailer rental at Fort Wilderness.

I am about 3 hours from Charleston.

I checked out that site, but for $135 a day plus FW fees is more than what we were looking to spend. It is beautiful though! My CM cousin can get us great deals staying on property, so we have looked into the value resorts but would love to stay at the campground if we could. We may rent a cabin if some friends decide to join us.

Why not rent the motor home?
